​Description: SCP-XXXX is an image depicting a semi humanoid crustacean of extra terrestrial origins. it appears to have several tentacles, which it seems to use as a way of movement, supporting a soft mass of flesh believed to be its organ system. SCP-XXXX's anatomy is very similar to that of crustaceans and forms of octopus & jellyfish. The image can be seen around many historical events and figures, found in caves and pyramids, even medieval era tapestries and books. There is no correlation between these sightings and it possesses no apparent meaning, despite appearing in nearly every culture around the world. SCP-XXXX was discovered when agents were looking for damage caused by the Mandela effect, anomalous event caused by SCP-████. When questioned on the matter, SCP-████ appeared visibly shocked when viewing the image, and refused to discuss it any further. Research into other SCP's knowledge or correlation towards the creature are undergoing.​

Special Containment Procedures: A Russian tree felling company has been forged and built around the anomaly. with the location in mind, the facility needs very little security as the location is around 30KM from any town or village. Two teams of researchers and and a security unit has been dispatched and will be posted there until further notice. Any Trespassers will be detained, questioned and administered class-C amnestics. Since the spontaneity of this portal, it is unclear whether it will move or even grow in size, so we can only monitor it for now. Description: At around █:23PM on the ██/█/2006, a huge surge of energy was detected in Siberia. When our field agents arrived, a rift of energy opened up in [REDACTED], Siberia.The anomaly is 4.8m in height and 2m in width, with no depth, being completely invisible from behind.It It emits low level radiation and a strong 45° degree heat bubble 10m in circumference, with some interference to the magnetic field around it. Inside the rift is one 5x5x5m room, filled with a thick mist of an internationally unknown gas. any attempt to break these walls or obtain a sample of said mist was deemed ineffective by containment specialists.
