Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located in an airtight glass cube measuring 5.08cm³. Any damage observed should be reported to maintenance/janitorial teams. Due to the simplistic nature of the object, testing has been postponed until further reasoning has been provided.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a latex based foam sphere colored bright yellow measuring 2.04cm in diameter. Markings and deterioration are consistent with similar toys manufactured in the early 80's. SCP-XXXX only appears anomalous after contact with open air. An unexplained chemical reaction takes place making nearby air oxygen rich and the surface of SCP-XXXX volatile and extremely acidic. Acidity has been recorded as high as 2.3 and as low as 0.3 on the PH scale. After the surface is completely acidic the PH drops with extended air exposure.

After a noise complaint Officer ███████ reported to an abandoned toy manufacturing facility. Upon entering and searching the premise the officer wrote that he saw approximately █ bodies suffering from heavy burns and blood loss. After the initial discovery the foundation was contacted to retrieve the object. A cover story was released about an accident involving fireworks and left over manufacturing chemicals. Amnestics were administered to the police officers involved.
