Special Containment Procedures: SCP-<☐> Is to be contained within a room no smaller than 15 cubic meters with no light sources.
The room must constantly maintain an inside-luminosity of under 2 lumens as the entity's visuals of any kind is lost in any brighter situations.
SCP-<☐> Must constantly be monitored via infrared cameras, as SCP-<☐> is significantly more identifiable with infrared imagery.
Maintenance and transport must always require the approval of administrative personnel with clearance level-4 or above.
Description: SCP-<☐> Is an anomalous shadow-like humanoid entity with a constantly changing appearance that is different for every observer but has commonly-described features such as having human-like eyes with a pale white iris and that it is a tall humanoid entity widely described to be approximately 1~2 meters tall, with a masculine figure. SCP-<>'s further detailed physical, visual features such as color and proportions were described differently by each and every observer.
SCP-<☐> Maintains its initial observed form until exactly ten minutes after breaking line of sight with the entity. Observers have confirmed that the entity emits a faint, yellow aura around its darkly shaded physical form every 2~3 days. SCP-<> Also does not show any form of humanly personality or emotions. Observation has confirmed that SCP-<> constantly faces the observer, staring directly into the observer's eyes, in any angle.
SCP-<☐> Is able to tell its regional time despite having virtually no access to information about the outside of its containment area. SCP-<> Shows rarely any activity or movement during daytime when left alone and shows movement activity during night-time to early daylight, around 11:00PM-2:00AM of the containment site's location.
SCP-<☐> Has a metaphysical effect to its surroundings, an effective area of a geometric spherical vicinity with the radius of exactly one kilometere.
Observed effects include: The temporary semi-transparency of the physical form of affected individuals which is later accompanied by a lack of REM sleep and physical discomfort ranging from bad sleeping posture to sudden, spontaneous sharp pain inside the affected individual's body during their sleep.
SCP-<> Has the ability to phase through matter presumably by will, though in extremely rare occasions. SCP-<> Is usually cooperative when instructed to move or stop its physical activities, very rarely acting on its own. But for reasons such as [DATA REDACTED], SCP-<> refuses to follow orders from any foundation personnel with an assigned clearance level under clearance level-2 and lower.
SCP-<☐> Emits a metaphysical gaseous anomaly that follows organisms that has a line of sight with the gaseous anomaly.(Designated: SCP-<>-A) SCP-<>-A is made of an un-identifiable substance with a very high resemblance to water vapor; Experiments have confirmed that SCP-<>-A inflicts anomalous effects to its vicinity that is similar to SCP-<>'s anomalous effects.
SCP-<>-A does not have an identifiable shape or form other than its visible gaseous state of matter.
The effective vicinity of SCP-<>-A's anomalous properties is 1/4th the size of its parent anomaly's effective vicinity.
Incident Report: In one instance during an attempt at testing the entity's vocal capabilities,
SCP-<> Suddenly showed vocal activity, saying the following sentence: "I wish to meet [DATA EXPUNGED].", being heard only by observers who were present, SCP-<> suddenly turned violent, physically attacking, mauling two researchers and two site security personnel.
No further similar incidents have been recorded and/or occurred ever since this incident.
