Special Containment Procedures:
The SCP can be kept in complete darkness as long as no insects are let into the room to eat it. The SCP is not to be fed no matter what as it will absorb the food and become stronger and larger. If the SCP were to, however, be given food, it must immediately be taken away from the food using a 2 inch thick glass case as this will stop the SCP from leaking out of the case and the effects of the SCP on subjects will be nullified.
The SCP is to be kept inside a small mason jar just enough to fit it inside. When conducting experiments on the SCP, if the subject is to open the mason jar, they must immediately be escorted out of the room before any of the SCP is touched. The room the SCP is to be kept in must not have any windows to stop people from peering in and lights are to be dimmed when under surveillance.
Description
The SCP is something that resembles pure honey taken from a bee nest and put into a mason jar. However, it has somewhat of a small golden glint which is appealing to people and will make them want to taste it. The SCP is completely harmless while inside its jar and cannot escape unless let out because it has no limbs and cannot leak from any cracks on the jar.
The honey is filling and is said to taste very good; some survivors have described the taste of the honey as "an angel's blood". People who taste the honey become insane if they are not given anymore and cannot function anymore either unless given at least a drop of honey.
The SCP is much like SCP-012, causing people who look at it to attempt to taste it at which point the subject will begin to eat the honey so fast that they choke on it. After this, the honey will leak from inside the subjects mouth and absorb the body of the subject, making it expand and grow stronger and heavier.
