Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept locked in a steel 10m x 10m x 10m cell at all times. This cell is to be cleaned of all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 by a Class C or lower staff member once every 12 hours until 09/06/2021 upon which, due to the exponential increase in the production of SCP-XXXX-1, the cell will need to be cleaned once every 10 hours. All removed instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be moved to the nearest designated holding cell. If a cell ever becomes full of SCP-XXXX-1 senior researcher Dr. Phaeron is to be notified immediately. SCP-XXXX is to be monitored through live video feed at all times by at least one Class C staff member and the door to SCP-XXXX's cell is to remain locked and supervised at all times. Due to the passive nature of SCP-XXXX research personnel of level 4 clearance or higher are permitted to directly interact with SCP-XXXX, provided they have been given explicit permission by Dr. Phaeron. As of the time this article was written absolutely no testing should be performed on SCP-XXXX or any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 following the incident recorded in Experiment Log 14-B.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Klein¹ bottle that is approximately 1.15 meters tall and approximately 0.56 meters in diameter and has a mass of approximately 30.50 kilograms that is currently located at Site-11. Despite its appearance, SCP-XXXX does not intersect itself at any point, which corresponds to theory ██████ proposed by ██████████ in 19██. The surface of SCP-XXXX is composed of a luminous metallic material of unknown origin with a Mobius strip etched on one side. It is currently believed SCP-XXXX was created by a transdimensional species known to the Foundation as the ██████. It is to be noted that researchers have been unable to make any contact with said species and it is also beleived SCP-████ and SCP-████ could also have originated from the aforementioned species. All tests have shown SCP-XXXX to be thus far incapable of being damaged and all attempts at a disassembly of SCP-XXXX have resulted in failures. Due to SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1's indestructible nature and relatively large size, researchers at outpost ████ have been unable to determine the chemical makeup of SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX was found in █████, Missouri (See Expedition Log 1216-B) along with the discovery of nearly █████ instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 is the reference to the metallic spheres produced by SCP-XXXX of which appear to be made of the same material of unknown origin as SCP-XXXX. Each sphere produced is identical in every aspect, each having a radius of approximately 0.15 meters, and a mass of approximately 2.54 kilograms. The spheres themselves have thus far not displayed any anomalous properties besides their unknown chemical makeup and are believed to be otherwise ordinary in behavior.

The current rate at which SCP-XXXX produces a single instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is precisely 1 instance per every 3.57 seconds as of 04/08/████. This is exponentially higher then what was observed upon the discovery of SCP-XXXX and the rate at which the production of SCP-XXXX-1 changes thus far can be modeled mathematically by the equation ████████. It is to be noted that 2nd-order differential equations were used to come up with the equation modeling the production rate of SCP-XXXX-1 and said equation has not appeared in any natural occurrence thus far. This exponential increase in the production of SCP-XXXX-1 led senior researcher ███████████ to change SCP-XXXX from Safe to Keter immediately following approval from an O5 council member. See Experiment Log 14 for more details.

Exactly how SCP-XXXX produces each instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is unclear. Current theory suggests Each instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is transported from an unknown dimension into ours using SCP-XXXX as a vessel. All tests to transport items through SCP-XXXX's opening have resulted in failure and it is believed any substance that enters SCP-XXXX ceases to exist. It is noted that any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 produced by SCP-XXXX will not be capable of being sent back into SCP-XXXX. All attempts to do so have resulted in failure and it is believed a magnetic field of infinite strength is created between SCP-XXXX and any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 when the two are brought near each other. Normal magnets seem to have the same effect when placed near SCP-XXXX and are incapable of being inserted into the hole in SCP-XXXX.

LEVEL 4 CLEARANCE REQUIRED

SCP-XXXX was first discovered by foundation agents 03/11/199█ when a call originating from █████, Missouri was received. The caller complained about a "house of replicating spheres" and was noticeably disturbed throughout the duration of the call. It is unknown how the caller knew the Foundation's number at this time. Upon arrival, MTF-ζ9 met with the unknown caller, later identified as ██████████, and were led to a 1970's style farmhouse upon which instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were seen "pouring" from the windows of the home. Agents promptly administered Class A anesthetics to the caller and secured a perimeter around the home. Containment was simple as the home was an estimated █-miles from the nearest town. Upon entering the home and clearing a path through instances of SCP-XXXX-1 to the basement, agents discovered SCP-XXXX, of which at the time was confirmed to be the source of SCP-XXXX-1. A total of ████ instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were discovered and transported to Site-11 along with SCP-XXXX. It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX arrived at the home but mathematical data points to its arrival being sometime during the years ████ and ████. Local town records show no records of the property rights corresponding to the home and the caller did not seem to remember the home even existing prior to calling. It is to be noted the caller was diagnosed with stage-█ dementia the year prior to the incident. At the time SCP-XXXX was believed to be █████ and the home containing SCP-XXXX was incinerated.

LEVEL 4 CLEARANCE REQUIRED

[Test A - 03/04/████

Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: SCP-XXXX will be monitored for 8 continuous hours and time between the production of each instance SCP-XXXX-1 will be noted.
Results: As expected SCP-XXXX's production rate of SCP-XXXX-1 was proven to increase by roughly 0.0████% over the eight hour time period. Likewise, the rate at which the production of SCP-XXXX-1 was increasing increased by 0.0███████%.
Analysis: While this increase was astronomically small, the fact that the rate of production of SCP-XXXX-1 is also increasing, along with the indisposable nature of SCP-XXXX-1, could lead to a possible K Class event in the future. Reclassification of SCP-XXXX from Safe to Keter, or perhaps even ████ is advised for this reason.**

Test B - 03/06/████

Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: SCP-XXXX will be coated in a dense layer of standard construction concrete that will surround the object by approximately 5 meters on each side in an attempt to stop the production of SCP-XXXX-1.
Results: SCP-XXXX continued producing instances of SCP-XXXX-1 as if it were left in an unconfined area. New instances of SCP-XXXX-1 were produced through the opening in SCP-XXXX as if nothing were blocking the opening, forcibly projecting the concrete out at lethal velocities.
Analysis: As with the test conducted on ███████ using molten steel instead of concrete, SCP-XXXX continued to produce instances of SCP-XXXX-1 in a normal manner. However, due to the rigid properties of the concrete mixture used, each time a new instance of SCP-XXXX-1 was produced, the surrounding concrete was projected outwards in all directions at lethal velocities causing both severe damage to surrounding equipment, as well as the fatality of one Class D personnel. It is to be noted that this confirmed that SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 seem to obey The Law of Conservation of Mass, specifically that matter cannot be destroyed through the creation of instances of SCP-XXXX-1. All tests of this manner are to be indefinitely suspended.

Test C -04/21/████

Subject: SCP-XXXX-1
Procedure: One instance of SCP-XXXX-1 will be attempted to be neutralized using a 1 gram sample of antimatter in an abandoned nuclear bomb shelter in ██████, Nevada. A remote drone will deliver the sample and on-site recording equipment will attempt to document the result. Absolutely no personnel are to be within a 2-mile radius at the time of delivery. It is to be noted that all other tests of this type have thus been unsuccessful.
Results: SCP-XXXX-1 was successfully neutralized using the provided antimatter. No trace of SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered and a thorough search of the remaining structure used to house SCP-XXXX-1 came up negative for any trace of the substance.
Analysis: While the use of antimatter proved successful in the neutralization of one instance of SCP-XXXX-1, due to the high costs and difficulty associated with producing antimatter at the time of testing, this will not be a feasible way to dispose of all other instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Likewise, it is noted that this procedure did not work on SCP-XXXX as proven in Experiment Log ████. ]

LEVEL 5 CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Project Hazemine-Scarlet is a proposal by The Foundation to use a "Space Cannon" to launch either all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX itself from Earth to either the star nearest to Earth or towards the outer edge of our solar system. This project received a lot of controversy, mainly due to the fact that high temperatures have not proven effective in neutralizing either SCP-XXXX or any instance of SCP-XXXX-1. A potential solution would be to aim the "Space Cannon" towards our galaxy's supermassive black hole, although this would require an advancement in technology that is not in the foreseeable future.

Addendum: The reclassification of SCP-XXXX from Safe to Keter was decided after reviewing Experiment Log 14-A. If SCP-XXXX continues to increase its production rate of SCP-XXXX-1 it is expected that by 05/11/20██ as many as ██ instances of SCP-XXXX-1 could be produced in a single second. With this exponential increase in the rate at which SCP-XXXX produces a single instance of SCP-XXXX-1 along with the nearly indisposable matter of SCP-XXXX-1, the reclassification of SCP-XXXX from Safe to Keter was a unanimous decision by the council. Furthermore, unless Project Hazemine-Scarlet (See Proposal 643-C) was performed and made a success, SCP-XXXX could be reclassified again as a █████ Class object with an EK-Class Scenario becoming increasingly likely by ███████ and a possible VK-Class Scenario by ███████. One final proposal would be to eject SCP-XXXX from the planet with an intention for it to travel an infinite distance from Earth. Theoretical physicists within Foundation argue this could lead to a ZK-Class event sometime around the year 2245, contingent on the theory the universe is still expanding and that the rate of production of SCP-XXXX-1 continues to increase exponentially. Finding a solution to neutralize the threat posed by SCP-XXXX is an Alpha-Level priority from this point on.
