Special Containment Procedures:
The SCP-XXXX is to be held in a room that is completely sealed off and void. No tests are to be conducted on the specimen since the ██████ Incident.

Description: The SCP-XXXX resembles is a cylindrical metal container that contains a deadly gas (named SCP-XXXX-1) that can only travel through other gases.

The SCP-XXXX-1 doesn't exist in the Table of Elements, but it's electron structure resembles that of a noble gas, and as such doesn't chemically react with any element. The gas quickly travels through the pores of living organisms and blocks oxygen from reaching the cells¹. The gas also puts out fires, as all of the oxygen is separated from the reaction by the SCP-XXXX-1.

When the SCP-XXXX is activated (by pressing the button or on its' own at exactly 12:00 pm London Time, with no external influence), The SCP-XXXX-1 is released at a high speed² and terminates any living organism in a radius of 5 meters around the entity, then the gas is sucked back in the SCP-XXXX.

Addendum: A total of █ SCP-XXXX have been contained. Those entities vary in size, but their volume is consistent, at precisely 600ml.

1. A total of 500 organisms with epidermis of varying thicknesses have been tested, and the result was always the death of the subject.

2. The speed depends on the gas it travels through and it gets greater the less electrons the carrier gas has. The lowest speed was for hydrogen (200m/s), and the highest was for Radon, equal to the speed of sound (343m/s).
