Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept on Site-██, inside a lead room. Nobody below Clearance Level 2 is allowed to enter the entity’s containment room. Authorised personnel are not permitted inside the room for more than 5 minutes per day, this is due to the intense radiation. Nobody is authorised to touch SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX was found on ██/██/████ at Area ██, where Site-██ was built to contain it. First seen as a rectangular, two-dimensional wall with a ‘W’ ethched into a transparent material. This ‘W’ can be seen at the front and back of the wall, but cannot be seen from the sides, as the object only occupies length and height, and not width. Since SCP-XXXX appeared, touching the entity, e.g. placing a hand inside the wall palm first, had resulted in amputation of the object put inside and the object being seen as part of the two-dimensional wall on the other side of the entity. (Note: Objects put into the wall will not be seen if they are enter where the ‘W’ is etched in). This creates the painted on effect of the victims. Also due to its two-dimensional properties this entity generates large amounts of radiation. (See Addendum-XXXX-02).
SCP-XXXX currently contains (full bodies) 3 recorded SCP researchers and 12 civilians, with the injury count at 29 people, that have left evidence of amputation, and 21 radiation poisoning deaths.
Addendum-XXXX-01: Analysis of SCP-XXXX
Audio Log Analysis: Dr Rein █████, “When looking at the entity at the perpendicular, the initial sight is the vague, sketched looking ‘W’, then you see the people. Like a wall of opaque material, I’ve tested with Dr Quill ████ that you can’t see other humans beyond the wall. But unlike a wall, it takes whatever background is provided, e.g. placing it in a room made of wood, the part of the wall not covered by the ‘W’ or the 2-D people, will be seen as wood.”
Addendum-XXXX-02: Analysis of Radiation causes by SCP-XXXX
Enormous amounts of radiation have been recorded coming out of SCP-XXXX. When it first appeared, the entity killed 13 By radiation poisoning. Dr Rein █████ II, proposed that the radiation was generating due to the fact that the atoms that were there before the entity’s arrival were then suddenly split and frozen in a nuclear state when SCP-XXXX. But alike the victims, this radiation will never dissappear because it can’t be removed.
Addendum-XXXX-03: Analysis of Anomaly
Psychological effect of the entity that causes the subject in question, when placed at an invisible side of the entity, to see the two-dimensional wall opening up, as if it had width. The reason this anomaly causes casualty is because when influenced to see this, viewers tend to be drawn into it. An explanation for this has been proposed as, a radiation signal that the entity sends out, caused by the etched ‘W’ in the wall. This infers that the symbol is intentional if this theory is correct.
Addendum-XXXX-04: Audio file 1 (First Mission, Testing Audio Device inside SCP-XXXX) Charlie Team 10-1

Darren: This is Charlie Team 10-1, reporting for SCP-XXXX. We received news that we needed radiation suits, this thing is off the charts.
Sam: Are we all ready, boys?
Charlie 10-1: Yes sir!
Darren: We are off, this is going to be a quick mission, maybe two or three hours max.
*Audio shut off for the drive*
Darren: Finally, that took forever! They really drove us from █████ to ███████. Could’ve flew, the cheap bastards.
Sam: Be careful and remember, don’t touch it.
Darren: Mikey, you still recording?
Mike: Yes Darren, I can hear you through the headphones, you don’t have to ask.
Darren: Good. How long ‘til the send-off sir?
Sam: Not long, once we’ve set up parameters, we can start the experiments.
*Audio shut off*
Darren: Well, the first experiment was dud. Nothing, nothing at all. Theron went in from the side, and from what we’ve observed, there is no sound emitting from inside the entity. Still don’t know if they can get him out. They’ll have to try after I go in…
*Darren pauses for 6 seconds*
Darren: I’ve got to…*He gets cut off*
Sam: You’re up ‘Darling’, here goes experiment number two.
Darren: Okay, okay. I’m going in.

*Static starts and continues for 1 minute*
Mike: It’s been a minute, and it hasn’t change.
Sam: Listen for another hour and then we’ll start the rescue op.

Mike: The rescue mission was a fail, lost another man to the entity. It has a weird effect. We are leaving soon. Audio file is stopping, mission fail.
