Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter is to be kept around SCP-6444 via natural forest cover and no less than twelve armed guards under the guise of local forest preserve employees to discourage discovery by non-foundation personnel. Both local and national forest preserve lobbying is to be supplemented to ensure the continued status of the land surrounding SCP-6444 as forest preserve.

Yearly at time 6444-RP-T0, procedure 6444-RP¹ will be enacted within SCP-6444. In preparation for the failure of procedure 6444-RP, foundation personnel equipped with class B amnestics² will be stationed within the nearest populated areas. Effective dosages of amnestic will be determined experimentally for each use.

All 103 individuals performing procedure 6444-RP are to be motion and position tracked during each performance. The positions and conditions of all volatile objects³ are also to be tracked and recorded. This information will be statistically analyzed and compared with past 6444-RP performances in order to better determine the optimal state of these objects for a 6444-RP performance.

All information regarding the accurate performance of procedure 6444-RP is to be directed to the the current Site Director of Site-78.

Description: SCP-6444 is a castle located within Parc naturel régional des Landes de Gascogne⁴ in southwest France. The anomalous properties of SCP-6444 manifest yearly at time 6444-RP-T0. The degree to which SCP-6444’s primary anomalous property manifests is directly proportional to the degree to which procedure 6444-RP is accurately carried out.

In the event that procedure 6444-RP is not carried out accurately, the perceptual length of the second beginning at time 6444-RP-T0 for humans within a radius of SCP-6444 will be extended. The radius of affected individuals and the length of the perceptual extension are both proportional to the degree to which procedure 6444-RP is not carried out accurately. If procedure 6444-RP is performed to a high degree of accuracy, it is theorized that SCP-6444’s primary anomalous property will not manifest, or will manifest to an imperceptible degree.

The secondary anomalous property of SCP-6444 manifests as instantaneous repair and relocation of certain objects around and within SCP-6444 at time 6444-RE-T0. This repair and relocation reverts these objects to a base condition that is consistent across each instance of time 6444-RE-T0. No testing has been done on the possibility of interrupting or obstructing this effect.

Further Action: SCP-6444 has been reclassified under containment class Keter, and Site-78 resources have been redirected to containment research as appropriate. All testing of SCP-6444 near time 6444-RP-T0 has been deemed unethical by the Ethics Committee, and is suspended indefinitely. Investigation into the possibility and efficacy of displacing nearby civilian populations is ongoing.

Description: A failure to execute procedure 6444-RP to a satisfactory degree of accuracy resulted in the the primary effect of SCP-6444 reaching civilians in a nearby town. The effected civilians and foundation personnel were anesthetized and are to be monitored for signs of any chronic maladies. From the effective amnestic dose, it is estimated that the perceptual length of 6444-RP-T0 was between 6 and 8 years.
