Half-Life 2: Episode 3

Item #: SCP-1234

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1234 is to be kept inserted into a desktop computer located at Site-██. This computer is free to use if any site personnel wish to play SCP-1234.

Description: SCP-1234 is a physical DVD-ROM copy of a supposedly canceled installment in the Half-Life1 game franchise, titled "Half-Life 2: Episode 3". The copy was retrieved on August ██, 2017 after reports of a large, perfectly spherical area vanishing from an apartment building in ██████, California. The DVD-ROM case was found on the ground (and presumed to have manifested in the direct center of the area) by Agent M███████ while investigating the incident and returned to Site-██, where it currently resides.

SCP-1234 has no visible anomalies other than its own existence, as no version of Half Life 2: Episode 3 was ever released by Valve Corporation (or developed enough to match SCP-1234). The game itself appears to be a legitimate continuation of Half Life 2: Episode 2 and the major plot points line up consistently with Marc Laidlaw2's draft of the story.
