SCP-XXXX.jpg

SCP-XXXX when is uncovered.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be highly fixed in a metal support to prevent the shattering of the object, covered with an opaque material and kept in a locked storage room at Site-19. SCP-XXXX is to be uncovered only during tests or safety checks. No personnel are to pass trough the mirror or to insert body parts, with the exception of D-Class personnel undergoing tests. Safety checks are to be performed weekly to make sure the object does not present any cracks.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a wall mirror, two (2) by one (1) meters, with an ornamented wooden frame. If SCP-XXXX is fully covered with an opaque material, it does not present any anomalies. Nevertheless the object's surface will change its density and aggregation state similar to water. As so, the reflective surface will change into opaque, gaining a deep green color identical to depth water. Although its appearance is very similar to a liquid, test proved that samples can not be taken from the surface, keeping its shape. Objects, body parts and even subjects can pass the surface. In this instance, the subject will be sent into a dimension which represents a huge body, filled with water , designated SCP-XXXX-1. Liquid samples were brought from SCP-XXXX-1 after Exploration A, revealing that the liquid have the same molecular structure as the water and the same physical properties unlike SCP-XXXX surface. The water's salinity is high, twenty six (26) ‰, indicating that SCP-XXXX-1 is an infinite ocean.
