Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5137 is to be kept in a cm thick wooden box, measuring approximately 35cm x 20cm x 10cm. Level 3 clearance is required to access SCP-5137's containment chamber, which is a padded fireproof containment room that measures 20ft x 20ft x 20ft. In the event of a Class-D riot or a containment breach, SCP-5137's containment chamber is to be locked down to all personnel, exceptions being O5 Command and the Site Director. If a member of foundation personnel is to be negatively affected by SCP-5137, they must be given Class-B amnestics and put into quarantine for 1 - 3 months. Class-D negatively affected must be terminated on sight.

Description: SCP-5137 is a small transparent bottle, roughly the size of a Pepto Bismol™ bottle. SCP-5137 contains a opaque liquid that constantly changes colors depending on the time of day, location, and other features yet to be known. SCP-5137 replenishes every hour, so rapid consumption is not available. Determined by multiple tests, SCP-5137 can choose the severity of its effects depending on who they are, how old they are, etc. When ingested, SCP-5137 can cause a number of effects that either cause harm or bring good to those who ingest it. Some of the effects include:

  • Blindness
  • Nausea
  • Heightened Senses
  • Increased Alertness

Addendum 5137-A:

Day: 01/22/04
Description: SCP-5137 got into the hands of SCP-049. SCP-049 used SCP-5137 on 8 Class-D in an attempt to cure them. The Class-D frightened SCP-049 and the containment breach was averted. The Class-D were placed into quarantine shortly after the incident.

Reason for Testing: Determining whether the effects of SCP-5137 can be controlled.
Test Results: SCP-5137 exploded when D-5283 attempted to make it choose a specific effect, leaving D-5283's body was [DATA EXPUNGED]. It took a janitorial team 5 hours to fully clean and sanitize.
Further Notes: SCP-5173 cannot be controlled. Will become extremely volatile.

Additional Notes:

  • SCP-5137 is not to be given to sentient SCPs. The effects will only be positive.
  • SCP-5137's bottle cannot be cloned or replaced.
  • 112 casualties in total due to SCP-5137.
  • Do NOT mix SCP-5137 with other substances.
