Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3917 is to be kept in a protected box in Site-77 and to be opened only for testing due to the abnormal amounts of radiation after using SCP-3917. SCP-3917 is not to be moved with exposed skin after usage due to third-degree burns after moving. During testing, SCP-3917 is only to be used for 15 minutes before radiation settles within the exposed skin while using the programs on the screen. Supervision is to be there at all times to avoid accidents or injuries during testing.

Description: SCP-3917 appears to be a Chromebook made by Acer with a color of a desaturated dark purple that was not created by Google or Acer before. Previous records of SCP-3917 shows that it changes colors within the amount it is used by. A few previous examples are a light pink, a reddish-yellow, and a bright light blue that is hurting to the eyes. The keyboard and inner body has a dark grey color with the same color keys as the outside layer. Previous forms depends on who used it in the span of 15 minutes. The dark grey color was due to the lack of testing during present day.

SCP-3917 was last used on ██/0█/████ when it was its anniversary of being found giving it a white color when it was last used. The screen is filled with games and programs that convinces the person to stay on it for hours until they finally die from radiation poisoning. The user does not feel the harmful effects as they continue to use SCP-3917 until pulling away from continuing onto exposure from SCP-3917. When SCP-3917 is broken, the events will reverse moments before it was broken. If SCP-3917 has cracks in the inner-body by either an accident or on purpose then a poisonous gas will form around the crack and spread throughout the room until every inch is covered with the gas. The gas is a fusion of mustard gas and Sarin. It attacks the immune system while also attacking the vital organs as well. The skin will begin to breakout with blisters and acne until death within 10 minutes. The deadly gas with clear within an hour of exposure to the room.

SCP-3917's exposure of the user comes with 4 stages within use:

Level 1: 15 minutes
The symptoms from 15 minutes of exposure shows no exposure to radiation but the user will come down with a common sickness after usage of SCP-3917. Many users come down with the flu but some users come down with a more serious sickness.

Level 2: ~20 minutes
The symptoms from ~20 minutes of exposure shows little radiation has been exposed to the user. They begin to come down with a sickly cough and a burning heat on their body. Fever like symptoms continue to appear and worsen until the user is found dead 60 days later. The sensation is like being burned alive over a roasting fire and documents show that the skin is shown to be covered in acne after 30 days from usage of SCP-3917.

Level 3: 36 minutes
At 36 minutes of exposure from SCP-3917, the user begins to be covered in acne and begins to have a severe fever before having their hair fall out in clumps. Their eyes begin to deepen and has blood surrounding their eyelids and lower eyelids. After they are done, they begin to experience a sharp pain in their stomach. Their eyes begin to fill with blood after 20 minutes from exposure. They are diagnosed with radiation sickness and poisoning after 50 minutes from exposure. The user dies within a matter of 3 weeks from radiation sickness and poisoning. Their bodies are covered with acne, blisters, and cysts.

Level 4: <50 minutes
Above 50 minutes, the user begins to bleed from their mouth and eyes with their ear drums exploding. The user is completely unphased from the experience during the entire time. Their hair completely falls off with their nails rotting from every angle. Their teeth begin to have cavities from the inside out and completely rot in matter of minutes. Their bodies become mere flesh and bones. Their organs will begin to decompose after 10 minutes from the exposure from SCP-3917. Their eyes droop and fill with blood after the effects of the decomposition of organs set in. Their skin fill with acne within the eyes filling their blood. They will drop dead from the serious infections and fatal injuries.

They try to stimulate their headache but eventually collapses to the ground once taking a few steps away from the seat. They awoke at 1█:3█ AM in the room without the headache but still having a faint sickness in their stomach.

Further records of experiments from SCP-3917 has been lost from either time or disposal.
