Special Containment Procedure: SCP-8373's teleportation abilities prevent any and all forms of effective containment outside of termination and constant sedation. As such, the most effective strategy has been found to be asking staff interacting with SCP-8373 to please treat him with the respect you would any other staff so as to make him content with his environment. If SCP-8373 does escape containment, Foundation personnel will be dispatched to (A) locate and sedate SCP-8373, (B) transport SCP-8373 back to Site 19 as soon as possible, and (C) use amnetics and disinformation campaigns to erase any encounters from civilian memories. SCP-8373 is allowed to roam the facility freely as long as it does not endanger him, other SCPs, or other personnel. SCP-8373's room is furnished with at least 1 full-sized bed with a plastic sheet and enough hangers for at least 5 thick housecoats.
Description:SCP-8373(or as he prefers to be called, Dr.Angsmith) is a humanoid entity who lacks any visible skin or genitals. SCP-8373 also lacks any visible body structure, and appears as a mess of gore. SCP-8373's body is held together by an unknown force, and it is locked in a sitting position with a large smile commonly described as "creepy" and "unsettling" by observers. While unable to move its body through normal means, SCP-8373 has numerous psychic powers which it uses to interact with the environment. These powers include telekinesis, which is uses to move its body for tasks like chewing, telepathy, which it can either use for private conversation or to project sound such as spoken words from itself publicly, and teleportation which it uses to move itself where it needs to. All of these abilities appear to have an infinite radius with the exception of sound projection. X-rays reveal that SCP-8373 has a large, thick amount of bone just below the surface, armoring it from large amounts of damage. It will usually not wear clothes as it will quickly stain them with heavy amounts of blood leaked from its body. SCP-8373 has a generally friendly and professional demeanor, showing a large interest in Safe-class SCP objects. SCP-8373 was discovered in 1994 and was contained through a non-hostile confrontation in which the Foundation agreed that in their containment of SCP-8373 they would guarantee his safety from the frequent myth buster, cryptid hunter, etc. attacks on his home cave at the foot of a mountain. SCP-8373 claimed that he was created in 1731 by sources he does not remember and had been living in the aforementioned cave ever since august of 1802.

Recently I have been having some very interesting conversations with various personnel about the Foundation. I have become quite interested with your work, the various creatures you contain, etc. As such I am sending this letter to apply to become a scientist at the Foundation. My numerous psychic abilities will be extremely helpful in containing SCPs and can help with many other things such as multitasking. Please consider my application.

SCP-8373 is currently a level 3 researcher at Site 19. Escape attempts have slowed from about 1 a year to 2 since the decision has been made and it shows significantly improved morale.
