SCP-5000-1 refers to an entity calling itself the 'Caretaker'. It is described as a woman of Oriental descent when in Asia, and Germanic when in Europe. Whether the instances in those regions are the same is unknown, although SCP-5000-1 insists they are.

Normally engaging in conversation, questions about its and SCP-5000's motives are met by a request for the personnel to go with them to SCP-5000-2, unless they have been already briefed by them.

SCP-5000-2 is the structure termed the 'Pavilion' by SCP-5000-1. It is located on an island belonging to the Spratlys Group, located near the Philippines. Structural analysis reveal that SCP-5000-2 is cobbled using a variety of architectural styles found in Asia and Europe in the 1940s. SCP-5000-2 can be accessed using abandoned shacks pointed out by SCP-5000-1 in the affected regions ; according to them, these were just used by them.

There are two points of interest for SCP-5000-2 :

  1. Codices bearing names of Chinese, Southeast Asians, and Europeans, few of which are documented in 1900 to 1930 censuses and records.
  2. Inscriptions and books that SCP-5000-2 presents to the Investeur team. These usually contain answers to questions about SCP-5000's motives, goals and records. It is unknown if SCP-5000-1 made them.

Addenda:Due to the Pavilion report, SCP-5000-1 has pushed for cooperation with the Foundation. Below is a statement made by Dr. Rodriguez, which also contains files relevant to SCP-5000.
