Through building the broken are crimes undone
See what I did there with the quote because this a revision of a bad article that I made and I'm 'rebuilding' it…. nevermind
And he's back with the worm again! I hope it turns out better this time. A HUGE thanks to Zyn for co-authoring this with me! I probably couldn't have gotten anywhere near this level of quality of both concept and execution without her help. Anyway, hope you enjoyed!

Zyn: Okay, so I have a couple ideas about making the worm a little more otherworldly. When we've got a concept that works for you, I can start reworking the containment and description to make things simpler and trim down the walls of text.
Zyn: Added more to the ideas. Sorry for the delay; I didn't check that tab earlier.
Gecko: On the chat right now. Just letting you know because you said we should do that.
Gecko: But now I'm not.
Zyn: Dangit! Missed you by about an hour as I finished up at work. I'm currently in chat and plan to be in chat for the next couple hours at least. I'm lurking in #thecritters if you can make it there. We might even be able to post today if we get enough positive feedback, since your author post is ready to go.
Usually, I don't post anything to the mainsite unless I know for sure there's at least 2-5 people hanging out in chat who like it and are ready to upvote when the piece goes live. Ideally that will be the case when we're ready to post.
See you in chat!
Zyn: aaaand going to maybe be afk for a bit. Wikidot's also lagging, so that doesn't help…
Zyn: Back. Will hang around for a bit, but I think you're gone until tomorrow. ETA: and out for the night. Will try to get to chat earlier tomorrow.
Zyn: As of 23 February, I'm lurking in chat at the moment. ETA: need to make dinner for the family.
Gecko: Sorry I didn't mention this earlier but I'm in the chat right now. ETA: But now I'm not. Got some critique.
Zyn: Aw man, missed you by less than an hour! I guess we'll try and get this posted tomorrow. I'm guessing stormbreath gave you a positive reception? I think we can count on three upvotes, if so. I'll try and hop into the chat more frequently tomorrow since I won't be at work. I'll likely start being around at 9am PST or so.
Gecko: Yep, I got a good review.
Zyn: Good! Will you be online today? What time do you think you can make it to chat?
Gecko: I'll be on today. Of that I'm sure but I don't have any other specifics more than before the evening.
Zyn: Okay, I'm online now and lurking in #thecritters. Hopefully we'll be there at the same time so we can get this posted! Did you pick out a number for the SCP?
Gecko: I'm on and lurking right now! The number I have planned is 3282.
Zyn: What if it's really, really nice inside the worm? And the people who are in there are effectively perfectly preserved mentally and physically (don't need to eat and won't go insane)? And the worm just feeds on their dreams until it starts to get bored, and then starts sending out dreams again? And part of the Foundation containment is putting an unconscious D-Class in the worm about every 30 days or so, so the worm doesn't go out hunting by itself?
Gecko: Do you mean that this is what happens before they get regurgitated back up or something else? I kind of feel like this might be a little too close to a scip called the Bath Bug (can't recall the number) with the whole 'burrowing invertebrate that eats you but actually transports you to a nice place'. I also feel like it may take away from the feeling of (cliche I know) impending doom and uneasiness I was trying to convey with the dream diary. Although to make a more otherworldly/fantastical experience, we could try and exploration log in which a D-Class wanders outside of the cave in the dream and finds a crazy wonderland of the disjointed memories of other victims the worm ate, eventually coming across some pieces of the worms memories. I know this isn't exactly a new 'effect' but it could work.
Zyn: Before the regurgitation. It doesn't necessarily have to be "nice" mentally; I meant more that the person would be physically totally fine inside the worm. I'm not too sure if we want to go with impending doom with the diary, since as you mentioned, it does seem cliche.
I like the idea of "a crazy wonderland of the disjointed memories"—maybe the Foundation first tried to rescue someone from the worm, and the worm spit out the person as a defense mechanism before eating an MTF personnel member and then going back into stasis or something. The Foundation keeps the previous victim in quarantine, they're effectively hallucinating but do stumble upon some of the worm's memories. When the worm spits out the MTF dude, the Foundation puts the quarantined victim back into the worm, and when the worm spits out that person, they're fine. Like they just woke up from a nap or something.
And then we can get into some unusual containment procedures, with the Foundation having an active set of training scenarios for people who are going to do worm duty.
Gecko: Sounds good! So just to make sure that I'm getting the idea revisions right instead of eating meat it eats memories/dreams now. Also one question, now that we've got the idea for the effect what's the narrative going to be? I have a few ideas but I kind of want to hear yours first, as you seem to be a lot better at coming up with narratives for this than I am (also mine are kind of bad).
Zyn: Yeah, I'm thinking it eats dreams and not meat.
My idea for the narrative is that the worm is actually a sort of fallen deity or otherwise disgraced higher being who's going through a rite-of-passage challenge or something. In order to earn its way back into its former place, it needs to construct a dreamscape that meets some sort of requirements set by its judges.
Gecko: Sounds amazing! Definitely better than anything I came up with. Also now that we don't have the 'mwahaha impending doom!' narrative we should probably get rid of the spreading interest part as that was made basically only to serve that narrative idea. So unless you have any more ideas lets get started!
Zyn: Okay, here we gooooo…. I'm basically writing this from the bottom-up, since there's a fair bit of things to revamp. I also changed the setting to the Himalayas, since that fits the "fallen deity" theme more and there are more caves in the mountains, and people who live near the Himalayas too.
Zyn: DONE. WE'VE GOT A WORKING DRAFT. I kept your mention of the city and the book, and added SCP-XXXX as a humanoid "guardian" of the book. Let me know if you'd like to do a little more worldbuilding with the city/SCP-XXXX-2.
I think we can start asking for feedback soon. Have you joined the IRC chat? If so, want to meet up there and ask for some read-arounds? ALSO, I ADDED AN IMAGE.
Gecko: Mind if I do a little worldbuilding in the dream world just to try and make it a little more otherworldly? I won't do too much (because you did an amazing job and I don't want to accidentally mess it up) but maybe just make it a bit more 'mythical' for lack of a better word. Honestly though, you did an INCREDIBLE job.
P.S I changed the caption for the image, I feel like just naming the actual species instead of calling it a 'non anomalous variant of SCP-XXXX' comes off better. You can change it back if you want though.
Zyn: Sure, we can definitely go with more mythical. That'll work nicely with the setting of the Himalayas (many of which are off-limits to explorers because they're sacred places) and the worm itself being something otherworldly that is trying to earn its way back to its original status. Glad to hear that you think the changes are good!
Image caption change looks good; I just italicized the name.
Gecko: Ok, I made an attempt to make it a bit more otherworldly. Hope I did a good job at giving an impression of a bigger sort of mythology that this god might be a part of. Also the signatures are intended to be a sort of agreement to the terms of the gods, punishment, I might try to make that clearer later.
Zyn: Looks good! I tweaked it a bit so it'd be less random/improved the internal consistency. I like the idea of signatures being present to show progress of how SCP-XXXX is doing with its punishment.
Do you think you could make it to chat sometime today or tomorrow? We should set a time for when we can both be in the chatroom (try #thecritters) to talk to potential reviewers.
Gecko: Thanks! It's definitely better than I had made it. I should probably be able to make it into the chat today and almost definitely tomorrow. I'll put it onto the Drafts and Critiques Forum today too so we can get feedback there too.
Zyn: Cool. When will you be in chat? I'm on the PST (UTC-8) timezone, and usually in chat during the late afternoons/evenings.
Also, I noticed you added in the Komodo dragon (note capitalization) bit back. Is there a reason you really want to have that in there? I felt like it was a fluff detail that didn't really fit with the rest of the article, and seems kind of random because I can't find a narrative link between Komodo dragons and the rest of the details in the article. If it's just there for rule of cool, might be better to take it out.
Gecko: Oh, sorry about that. I though that you might have accidentally deleted it or something. I was trying to build the otherworldly atmosphere but now that you point it out it does seem kind of pointless. I'll delete it right now. Also I don't really know any exact times I'll be in chat but it'll definitely be in the same time areas as you from my perspective(but due to time zone difference it'll be 4 hours earlier).
Zyn: Sounds good. Thanks for making that edit.
I guess we'll just post in here whenever we're in chat so the other person knows? I'm going to be rather busy for the rest of today, but I should have some time tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be able to post the article to the mainsite by the weekend.
Gecko: Sounds good! Also here's the link to the drafts and critiques thread that I made: http://www.scp-wiki.net/forum/t-5324774/the-worm-of-your-dreams-2:it-s-better-this-time
Zyn: Excellent! I'll try and find some reviewers in chat later today. If you're around, I do believe we can get this posted soon! Ideally, we'd both be in chat (or at least online) when you post the article to the mainsite, so I can tag it properly and we can both answer any comments that pop up.
That said—I think you should start writing an author post! Basically, just cover the stuff in the credits, mention any thoughts about the writing process you want, and note that the image is from here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Eunice_aphroditois.jpg and licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license.
I've made a new tab for your author post at the top! Feel free to fill that in whenever. :)
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: The cave in which SCP-XXXX currently resides in is to be restricted from public access, under the guise of a wildlife conservation effort.
A surveillance cabin accommodating three personnel has been established nearby, and is to be resupplied on a monthly basis. Personnel stationed at this cabin are to keep nightly dream journals, and upon noting the presence of SCP-XXXX-2, are to immediately report the manifestation to the closest Foundation base.
On the night of each full moon (approximately every 29 days), a specialized containment team is to transport one unconscious D-Class personnel member to the cave. The team is to deposit the D-Class individual at the mouth of the cave, and the following morning recover any humans who have been regurgitated by SCP-XXXX at the same location.
Should an SCP-XXXX-2 manifestation be reported before the next full moon occurrence, the above procedure is to be carried out the night following the report.
Any former SCP-XXXX-1 instances are to be held in quarantine for three months, during which their brainwave patterns during sleep are to be analyzed twice weekly to detect any abnormalities. Any coherent speech uttered by these individuals while asleep is to be recorded and added to existing documentation to determine any repeated vocalizations. Should an SCP-XXXX-1 instance be conscious upon recovery, they are to be immediately interviewed for information regarding SCP-XXXX-2.
Should SCP-XXXX manifest outside of its usual cave, Foundation agents are to disseminate disinformation through social media and public information channels indicating that any damage caused by SCP-XXXX is the result of natural disasters. Amnestics are to be administered to any civilians who happen to witness SCP-XXXX directly.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an abnormally large, terrestrial member of the species Eunice aphroditois (Bobbit worm), measuring 2.8 meters in diameter and approximated at a length of 11 kilometers. SCP-XXXX currently resides in a burrow (measured at 13 kilometers long), opening at a cave near the base of the Gyala Peri peak of the Himalayan mountains.
When hunting, SCP-XXXX will emerge from its burrow and attempt to seek out a human individual, which it will then attempt to swallow whole. SCP-XXXX will then retreat to its burrow, and enter a period of stasis lasting approximately 30 days. Upon waking from this period of dormancy, SCP-XXXX will then regurgitate the previously-consumed individual (designated as an instance of SCP-XXXX-1) and repeat the hunting behavior.
Observation seems to indicate that most recovered instances of SCP-XXXX-1 do not suffer any negative effects after being consumed by SCP-XXXX, except difficulty falling asleep during the first few weeks after regurgitation. In some cases, SCP-XXXX-1 instances have additionally exhibited mild short-term memory loss and personality changes (usually in the form of periods of flat affect and non-responsiveness). These effects have not been noted to last longer than two months. SCP-XXXX-1 instances are recovered seemingly without having experienced any exposure to foreign bacteria or digestive fluids, and typically react to the experience as if having awakened from a short rest.
During periods of SCP-XXXX stasis, humans in surrounding areas may experience recurring dreams involving similar themes and SCP-XXXX. Recorded dream content tends to focus on a "holy journey", usually involving the dreamer leaving their current location to seek out the Himalayan mountains. Some affected dreamers report finding a large city (designated SCP-XXXX-2) built into the mountains, populated by humans wearing clothing from various time periods. The city is bordered by tall stone walls patrolled by smaller versions of SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-2 is described as a "city of builders", and all encountered humans are frequently remembered as being seen making additions or repairs to the city's infrastructure. Many of these contributions include miniaturized versions of well-known historical landmarks and monuments (e.g., the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile of Paris).
Foundation research has determined that these dreams involving SCP-XXXX-2 correlate with the feeding cycle of SCP-XXXX. It is currently theorized that the dreams manifest when SCP-XXXX is close to emerging from a stasis period and will soon seek new prey.
Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX was first brought to Foundation attention when a mountain-climbing team was attacked by it during an expedition. The team later reported the loss of one of its members and the "terrifying encounter with a giant worm" to a local news station, prompting Foundation agents to investigate the case.
Two Mobile Task Force teams were later dispatched, and upon locating SCP-XXXX's burrow, attempted to engage the entity after setting up preliminary defenses. Conventional weapons and tranquilizers were found to be ineffective, and SCP-XXXX injured three personnel. However, SCP-XXXX then regurgitated the previously-consumed civilian, in favor of then swallowing one of the MTF personnel members. A retreat was called, and the civilian, a Mr. ████ ███████, rushed to a Foundation facility to receive medical attention.
Mr. ███████ was extremely agitated and incoherent upon awakening, and was quickly sedated and kept on an IV feeding system for the remainder of the month. The MTF personnel who had encountered SCP-XXXX later reported experiencing recurring dreams involving SCP-XXXX-2, and it was determined by Site Director █████ that Mr. ███████ should be returned to SCP-XXXX upon the MTF's following attempt to recover the lost squad member, to observe whether the action would have any corresponding effects on the dreams.
The MTF teams returned to SCP-XXXX's burrow, and upon laying the unconscious Mr. ███████ at the cave entrance, were greeted by SCP-XXXX, which deposited the previously-lost personnel member on the ground, swallowed Mr. ███████, and returned to its burrow.
A Foundation cabin was established near the burrow to monitor SCP-XXXX's activity. Approximately 20 days after Mr. ███████ had been taken by the entity, he was deposited at the cave entrance, and had apparently recovered from his previous agitation and incoherence.
Addendum XXXX-2: Some former SCP-XXXX-1 instances, notably those with high Openness scores in five factor model (FFM) tests, report remembering an "end to the dream" prior to first awakening after encountering SCP-XXXX. These individuals (tentatively designated SCP-XXXX-1A) consistently describe walking to the center of SCP-XXXX-2 and discovering a large, temple-like structure, with a single pedestal displaying a closed book resides in the innermost room.
Upon reaching the book and attempting to read it, SCP-XXXX-1A instances report being approached by a tall, androgynous humanoid wearing plated armor and an iridescent crown with five striped spires "pointing out like a sunburst", similar to the antennae of SCP-XXXX. The entity is described as having a solemn expression, and thanks the SCP-XXXX-1A individual for their contributions before the dream concludes. In roughly 15% of SCP-XXXX-1A cases, the contents of the book are remembered as the sentence, "Through building the broken are the disgraced renewed."
In two recent cases, SCP-XXXX-1A individuals have also noted that the book contains artistic depictions of humanoids with insectoid features. Reported observations include a feminine figure with two feathery purple antennae, and a heavy-set entity with wings resembling those of a mosquito. A single short line of indecipherable pictograms, accompanied by an ornate circular seal, is present underneath several portraits.
Discussion has begun regarding the possibility of allowing Foundation researchers to train and volunteer for becoming SCP-XXXX-1 instances, to further the collection of detailed information about SCP-XXXX-2.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be fed on a biweekly basis. The cave in which SCP-XXXX lives is to be restricted to the public under the guise of a wildlife conservation organization.
No contact with SCP-XXXX-2 is to be made that requires personnel to be in the physical presence of SCP-XXXX-2.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an abnormally large and terrestrial member of the species Eunice aphroditois with a diameter of 2.8 meters and a length of approximately eleven kilometers, the length of its burrow being thirteen kilometers deep. SCP-XXXX currently resides within a cave approximately three kilometers from the australian town of ██████.
Currently all attempts to relocate SCP-XXXX have failed, due to a combination of its immense length and aggressive action from SCP-XXXX upon removal efforts. Tranquilizers have shown to have no effect on SCP-XXXX. The size required of a robot capable of removing SCP-XXXX from out of its burrow is considered to be compromising to its containment and has thusly not been attempted.
If SCP-XXXX has not received food for three months SCP-XXXX will begin to consistently send dreams towards the nearest individual unaware of SCP-XXXX or the effects of SCP-XXXX. The dreams and dreamer are designated SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 respectively. The mechanism by which this happens is unknown. Currently the most plausible theory is airborne toxins, although this is widely disputed. If SCP-XXXX is fed during this period SCP-XXXX-1 events will cease to afflict SCP-XXXX-2.
SCP-XXXX-1 will consist of the SCP-XXXX-2 waking inside a large city within a cave, the citizens of the city will direct SCP-XXXX-2 towards a temple-like structure in the center of the city, invariably instructing SCP-XXXX-2 to 'read the book' upon interaction. The interior of the temple-like structure consists of a stone pedestal with a large purple book (decorated with artistic depictions of SCP-XXXX) placed on top. If SCP-XXXX-2 attempts to open the book SCP-XXXX-1 will cease, with SCP-XXXX-2 immediately awaking from the dream (SCP-XXXX-2 will not naturally awake from the dream until this event occurs).
SCP-XXXX-2 will invariably begin to believe the location described in SCP-XXXX-1 is a physical location after an SCP-XXXX-1 event has occurred. If SCP-XXXX-2 decides to search for SCP-XXXX-1, whether through aimless wandering or active searching the cave containing SCP-XXXX is always found eventually by SCP-XXXX-2. Once SCP-XXXX-2 has entered the cave containing SCP-XXXX they will begin to hallucinate, in these hallucinations SCP-XXXX-2 appears to be seeing the location described in SCP-XXXX-1. If the subject attempts to enter what they see to be the temple-like structure they will be immediately be consumed by SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX will then regurgitate SCP-XXXX-2 after a period normally lasting 2-3 days. Upon regurgitation SCP-XXXX-2 will invariably have lost a small amount of digits (usually ranging from 3 to 5, with losses being spread across both fingers and toes). SCP-XXXX-2 will remain in a vegetative state for an average of one month after regurgitation.
SCP-XXXX-2 lose significant portions of memory upon awakening. This large memory loss consequently results in significant personality changes in SCP-XXXX-2, as memories that have contributed to the personality of SCP-XXXX-2 are consistently lost during the process. Of note is that memories of SCP-XXXX-1 are never lost by SCP-XXXX-2. After SCP-XXXX regurgitates an SCP-XXXX-2 instance a citizen physically identical to the regurgitated SCP-XXXX-2 instance will manifest within all future iterations of SCP-XXXX-1. Of note is that any persons who speak to an SCP-XXXX-2 instance after regurgitation will begin to show extreme susceptibility to SCP-XXXX. Anybody who is 'infected' with this susceptibility can also pass it on to others, currently ██% of the population is estimated to be 'infected'.
SCP-XXXX appears to be able to use memories 'taken' from SCP-XXXX-2 to make SCP-XXXX-1 more intriguing to future SCP-XXXX-2 instances. This practice was demonstrated when the fire within the torches of SCP-XXXX-1 was replaced with luminous green crystals after testing involving SCP-XXXX-2-F (D-24686). Interviews with SCP-XXXX-2-F revealed that she was in possession of a green crystal night light as a child which she was very fond of, although reported only vague memories of the night light (believed to be the result of SCP-XXXX). Further testing on this has yielded similar results.
Addendum XXXX-A: On ██/██/██ a journal belonging to the late ████ ██████ was recovered by the Foundation. The contents of the journal are as follows.
So, I found this in a dumpster when I was looking for food and stuff. Cool. I guess this is like my little diary now? Oh well. Might as well write down what's happening. So I woke up in a cave. I have absolutely no idea how I got there. Also I can't remember where my house is. I know I have a house, I know what it looks like, I just have no idea where it is. Oh yeah some of my fingers and toes are gone too, healed over though. I'm hiding it with gloves for now. I think I'll take a nap.
I just had a really weird dream. Might have something to do with my current predicament so I'm gonna write it down here. I woke up in the dream, everything was perfectly normal and dandy for a while. Then I vomited up a worm. Not even a NORMAL worm like an earthworms, it was those creepy little bobbit worms. Then I looked up and guess what. Instead of the moon it was a giant bobbit worm eating its own tail. You know like that Uraburoes Oaroboaroas Oraboerous snake eating its own tail. I swear I knew how to spell it. Anyway, that was a weird dream.
I got back to my house. Saw some lady walking her dog on the street. She saw me and said hello to me, she seemed to know me. Weird how I don't remember her at all. I said hello and asked her where my house was. She (of course) looked at me weird, but seemed to think it'd be rude to say anything about it. She gave me some directions to my house. She called me honey why did she call me hone So yeah, I'm back baby.
I got some groceries today. I really like the raisin bread they sell there. Today was pretty uneventful.
Got a weird dream again. This time a worm was burrowed into a miniature version of the Earth. It kept on sending out these weird purple pulses that went the whole Earth. Everytime they came back around to it it got bigger. I heard dreams have little hidden meanings sometimes. I wonder what this means? Heck I wonder what any of these mean. Oh yeah worm eating itself was there too.
I saw a cool looking caterpillar today. It looked like it was really hungry. Must take a lot of energy to turn into a butterfly I guess.
More worm dreams. This time I was in a dark nursery room with a little stroller in the middle. Crying was coming out of the stroller. When I looked in I saw a bobbit worm covered in HUMAN EYES. It was just crying and snapping at thin air. I just watched it the whole time. it was cute
THESE DREAMS. This time I vomited up a bunch of bobbit worms, it kept on going for half an hour (or at least what seemed like it). Then the worms started eating me. it felt so good I hate sleeping now. I swear that worm in the sky is mocking me.
Ok, this can't be coincidence. How many times can a guy have a dream about FREAKING BOBBIT WORMS?! This time I went about my normal day, but when I went outside I saw that instead of eyes EVERYONE HAD BOBBIT WORMS COMING OUT OF THEIR EYE SOCKETS, JUST WRITHING AND SNAPPING AT NOTHING. They were just walking around aimlessly, smiling. I screamed but they all just smiled at me. They were singing some creepy lullaby about butterflies too. I bet you can't guess what was above me.
HOW. This time my fingers and toes started falling off. After that those damn worms started to grow out of the stumps. They kept on growing, snapping and writing in the air. Then my tongue fell out and a worm grew from that too. Next thing you know it was all falling out. Teeth, hair, ears, nose, everything. Ater that the whole word turned to worms. Grass turned into worms, Trees turned into worms, lamp posts everything was just WORMS WORMS WORMS!!!! They were crying and screaming like babies too. And the whole time that worm eating itself was up there spinning in the sky. I hate it so much.
I'm scared I'm getting memories that aren't mine. WHY DO I REMEMBER BEING A WORM!? WHAT IS IT WITH THESE GODDAMN WORMS?! please make it stop
Yet another worm dream. This time I gave birth. I GAVE BIRTH WHY ARE THESE DREAMS. You know like in those ████ movies with the █████████████s? Yeah like that. I was in the center of this huge crowd of people in these weird looking robes. I just gave birth to a baby worm monster I'm not not sure what to call it. It was just a babies torso, but instead of a head or limbs it was just huge bobbit worms. It was just convulsing and crying the whole time. Then the crowd did this weird chant in a language I've never heard before (my best description is a weird cross between latin and korean) and started to eat the baby. It was screaming the whole time as the crowd tore it apart with their teeth. After that happened those worms started squeezing themselves out of their pores. They seemed to be getting some sort of sick satisfaction out of it. 50 points to whoever can guess what was above me. I started crying when I woke up.
I know what happened. It all makes so much sense now. I know what that thing did to me. I remember. A part of its consciousness must have got lodged into mine when it took my memories. I can't tell anybody. Who would believe a guy who said he had a giant, memory stealing worms consciousness stuck in his head. Oh well
Yet another creepy dream from that stupid worm. Well, creepy is the wrong word this time. It wasn't scary, it wasn't disturbing. It was just cryptic. Shorter too. This time I was just watching the Earth from space. But then a giant worm butterfly burst out of Australia. If this is really part of that worms consciousness… I don't think I want to know what this means.
I finally got to read the book. The book from the dreams the worm sent me when this all began. It was just sitting there. On a rock in the worms cave. Right where the worm would normally be. I guess I should tell you what it said. The worm is just a <smudged beyond legibility> going need a lot of food to <smudged beyond legibility> raise interest <smudged beyond legibility> like a caterpillar <smudged beyond legibility> It wasn't an accident that the worm got into me. It just didn't hide it well enough. How many are infected by now? How many did I infect? I don't know. All I know is that this is just the beginning.
I can't bear to help it spread.
Goobdy Goodbye
the butterflies look so pretty though
