Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter Euclid (Potential Keter)
Special Containment Procedures: —Live Members of SCP-XXXX are to be contained within a 5m x 5m x 20m standard containment chamber at Biological Research Area-12 and are to be fed 3.5 tonnes of raw organic material every 15 months, this is to ensure that instances are unable to escape the rough vicinity if they manage to breach to the surface. If a large group (>250) of SCP-XXXX is on course with earth all armed Faculties and world Governments must be warned of a possible XK-class end-of-the-world scenario, The GOC will contacted and requested to aid The Foundation in attempting to prevent said scenario.—
All communication and rendezvous with instances of SCP-XXXX are to be made at Armed Humanoid Research Area-40; a facility dedicated to research of, protection of and cooperation with SCP-XXXX. There are to be no less than 30 personal on-site that are fluent in SCP-XXXX's language and familiar with SCP-XXXX's culture. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX containment is to be achieved by maintaining good diplomatic relations with SCP-XXXX, Because of this, only specimens of SCP-XXXX-1 should be present at Area-40 and all communications must be overseen by senior staff of Area-40. During interviews the interviewer must avoid angering the subject (especially in -2 and -7 instances) due to the danger it puts them and surrounding personnel in, it is also advised that researchers refrain from interviewing instances during feeding due to certain customs out lined in Document-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX Members are only to be physically contained if instances show signs of internal conflict and/or extreme violence. These rogue instances of SCP-XXXX are to be considered highly dangerous and unpredictable, such cases should be restrained as soon as the instance is confirmed to be rogue. All rogue instances of SCP-XXXX can be extensively researched as per one of The Foundation’s agreements with SCP-XXXX, a full list of these agreements can be found in Document-XXXX-C.
To prepare for instances of SCP-XXXX that require sustenance large amounts (preferably live) organic material should be on-site if a SCP-XXXX encounter is likely (~18 tonnes per adult individual). In the event that an encounter with an instance of SCP-XXXX-5, -6 or -7 is imminent communication with said instances are to be limited to personnel with security clearance level 3 or higher with appropriate qualifications and all logs of the interaction must be submitted to O5 command for review.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an advanced civilisation of anomalous organisms that are biologically capable of space travel. At present (██/05/202█) the majority of SCP-XXXX instance reside within the ██████████ Arm of the Milky Way
SCP-XXXX has a large spherical head housing most of the organism’s digestive system and its eyes, at the point where the head and the rest of the body meet four claws like limbs reminiscent of those of mantids, these are used to gather food, assist in feeding and to manipulate tools. The rest of the body consist of a thick and durable membrane supported by six highly articulate bone like structures that are attached to the base of the head, this membrane houses all SCP-XXXX’s nutrient storage, a majority of its neural tissue as well as several organs responsible for chemical processing and █████ █████ not found in terrestrial organisms.
SCP-XXXX has no immune system this is due to SCP-XXXX’s unique biochemistry and cell behaviour. Instances also have a complete lack of a circulatory system, instead having cells that can be equated to a combination of fat, liver and ████ cells suspend in a nutrient rich slurry that is present throughout its entire body. This slurry is produced by every cell in SCP-XXXX’s body from excess nutrients and energy. The cells of SCP-XXXX will break down and absorbs any foreign bodies it encounters, if it identifies it of significant value. It breaks down foreign objects using [REDACTED] a chemical currently unobservable due to its volatile and possibly anomalous nature.
