Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: A team of at least four Class █ research operatives must be stationed outside of the main entrance of SCP-XXXX at all hours of the day, year-round. This entrance is required to be kept under constant CCTV surveillance, and any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 detected outside of SCP-XXXX must be contained immediately within a transportable holding cell of 1.5 x 1.5 x 2 meters. Once contained, the Senior Administrator of Site-██ must be contacted immediately, and a team of [TO BE WRITTEN] sent to SCP-XXXX's location to collect any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 for transport to Site-██ for further study.
Once transported to Site-██, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 must be kept in individual 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.75 meter cells. Deceased instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be incinerated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a seemingly man-made hiking path located approximately [REDACTED] kilometers south-west of the village of ██████, Norway. Upon exterior and aerial observation, the path is completely straight and appears to be approximately 3.2 kilometers in length, pointing in a north-easterly direction. The trail lined with trees of an unknown genus, and each tree spaced precisely 2.2 meters apart. In appearance, trees appear to be similar to [TO BE WRITTEN].
Origins of SCP-XXXX are unknown, with records held within the village of ██████ being largely missing. Locals of ██████ expressed limited knowledge of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties, and thus have been administered Class B Amnestics. [REWRITE]
Upon entering SCP-XXXX, visibility as reduced to between 25-30 feet by a thick fog, no matter the external weather conditions. After venturing far enough for the entrance to be obscured by this fog, all attempts to backtrack to the entrance will prove unsuccessful, with the entrance seemingly disappearing for this subject. After this disappearance, the subject will no longer be detectable by any means approximately thirty (30) seconds after visual contact has been lost. After contact has been lost entirely, the subject will now be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1.
Approximately two to five days after the initial disappearance, the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 will exit SCP-XXXX, grotesquely deformed from its initial appearance. Instances display severe bloating and are usually determined to be in the stages of decomposition that correspond to the amount of time spent within SCP-XXXX.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are extremely hostile, and upon detecting humans will proceed to move towards them at a considerable speed. Upon contact with a human, SCP-XXXX-1 will proceed to lunge upon and [DATA EXPUNGED] them, showing heightened strength that does not match that of the subject before exposure to SCP-XXXX. Two to three hours after emerging from SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 will proceed to enter a state of considerable stress while beginning to emit a thick white fog from its mouth, similar to the fog present within SCP-XXXX. Approximately ten to twenty minutes after entering this state, the subject's vital functions will instantly cease and will then proceed to [DATA EXPUNGED].
