Special Containment Procedures:

Current containment of SCP-XXXX regards an underground 15 x 17 x 13 metres two floors concrete cell, infused with lead plating surrounding the entirety of the cell to disregard any photographic attempts made from outside the structure. The cell is to be under constant video surveillance as
SCP-XXXX does not seem to be able to contaminate video footage. The location regarding the cell is kept secret amongst [DATA EXPUNGED] and above. The cell contains multiple rooms including a bathroom, kitchen, five bedrooms, a living room and a creativity room for amusement and time pass. This structure is designed to contain large amounts of individuals due to the possibility of SCP-XXXX contaminating group pictures. Any image affected by SCP-XXXX will be kept in a safe with video surveilance to keep track of the next victim for research purposes.

All non-contaminated personnel entering the cell will be searched, and upon leaving will have a photograph taken of themselves inside a locked room, if SCP-XXXX is not sighted in the picture, the room will then be confirmed clean and the subject may then move to the next room and will then be searched again. If confirmed clear, subject is afterwards free to leave the facility.
If however SCP-XXXX is sighted in the picture taken, the subject will then be given a choice whether it wants to be studied inside the facility, or if it wants to be terminated. The subjects choice is to be afterwards conducted. If the subject refuses to choose, it will be immediately terminated.
When the subject is being searched and appears to have any kind of photographic object with it which includes SCP-XXXX, the individuals in the picture will then be located and both the subject and the located individuals will then be either studied or terminated depending on their choice, to prevent further contamination.

These two termination procedures have been proven
unnecessary so far and have not yet been executed.

If any lethal casualties would occur inside of the structure, either a D-Class member or a remaining subject will then be ordered to insert the body into a body-bag and transport it into the incineration chamber located next to the exit room. The body will be cremated and disposed. If the last subject inside the cell is terminated by any means, a new D-Class member is to be inserted into the cell and be photographed inside if further research is required.
If a photograph of SCP-XXXX and numerous other subjects is ever to be found, all the subjects are to be immediately located and locked away in SCP-XXXX’s cell.

Description:

SCP-XXXX regards an average sized blurry male entity which is observed to infiltrate pictures. This blurry individual cannot be seen with the naked human eye outside of the pictures and has proven unable or unwilling to alter observable reality, except for terminating its subjects. It also only seems to contaminate only one picture at a time, but affecting all pictures which include the victim. SCP-XXXX will attempt to infiltrate any picture taken when inside visible range of the camera. It will immediately proceed to touch a random victim in the picture, often laying its hand on the victim’s shoulder.
Between a period of 7 and 34 hours, the victim will then vanish from the picture, and all other pictures including the victim. The victim is then found dead, often found in a remarkable position with the bone structure mostly compromised and multiple organs misplaced, this being the presumed cause of death. SCP-XXXX was discovered after terminating part of a science team when they were investigating a large energy spike which was recorded near an uninhabited island complex, one of the individuals made a group picture and witnessed its team of twenty three personell get terminated by SCP-XXXX or confirmed deceased by other means over a period of 15 days. The two remaining scientists were transported to SCP-XXXX's current cell for research but were shortly after both terminated by the entity.

So far, there has been no recorded proof of how the subject gets terminated by SCP-XXXX.
It seems as if all cases which include terminations implied by SCP-XXXX seem to be either instantly performed, within a surveilance blind spot or simply not being seen by anyone or anything. Therefore, most incidents tend to happen overnight. Questioned subjects which managed to have seen an execution by SCP-XXXX have reported feeling emotionally distressed and suicidal. A feeling worth mentioning reported by multiple subjects after witnessing one of these terminations, is them feeling ''physically inferior'' compared to the entity, for reasons unknown.

Addendum:

Tests inside SCP-XXXX’s cell have concluded that when attempting to destroy the contaminated picture, all of the subjects will be terminated simultaneously. This conclusion was confirmed with video footage, when a mayor security breach of the compound was in place and four visiting research members were trapped inside SCP-XXXX’s cell for two days. During this period, one of the scientists was unaware of the malfunctioning wall camera, which then took a picture of the entire team. The four scientists panicked and tried to delete the image, with SCP-XXXX instantly terminating all four of the scientists, leaving their bodies yet again in a horrifying state.
