Special Containment Procedures:
Scp-5000 is to be contained in a 5x5m containment chamber in a glass box at site-██. Experimenting must be granted by an O5 Council member. The containment chamber must be in constant surveillance.
Description: SCP-5000 is a corn on the cob with regenerating properties, after a human comes within 2 meters of SCP-5000 they will get the tendency to eat it. After eating approximately half of the corn the subject is paralyzed and will suffer violent spasm and convulsion within 0-30 seconds and pass away. SCP-5000 will then rebuild itself in 1 hour. Research of SCP-5000 properties show a very complex DNA structure with more code than a human, regenerative properties have still not been fully researched. Since SCP-5000 containment chamber cannot be cleaned by a human. Automated intelligence does the cleaning in the chamber.
Addendum: Subject D-2987 has been told to approach SCP-5000. After being 1 meter away from SCP-5000 the subject ran to SCP-5000 grabbing it and eating it, subject became pale after eating a quarter of the corn then began having spasms after he ate half of the corn. 1 minute later the subject had a heart attack and passed away.
