Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3238 has to be stored in a secure container locker in site ██. Due to the nature of this object, ornithologist are allowed to interact with the object as well of level-3 or higher personnel. SCP-3238 - A must not interact with the original specimen owner of the body part used, unless it has authorization of level four (4) members if it is another SCP.
Description: SCP-3238 is a bird-like recipient that is twelve (12) cm tall and six (6) cm wide and it appears to be made of wooden crest. It can be opened separating the ´head´ apart form the ´body´, revealing a hollow interior.
When any part from the body of any kind of bird is put inside of the recipe and that being closed, the recipe won't open until fourteen (14) minutes and fourteen (14) seconds had already passed. Within this time, SCP-3928 won't be affected by any kind of exterior force. When that period of time finalizes, the recipe will open and, instead of the body part being used in the process, an egg will appear.
If the egg is incubated under the same conditions as an egg of the owner of the body part, when it opens (normally takes the same period of time) a creature will appear, referred to commonly as SCP-3238-A. This one looks and behaves exactly as the original with the only difference being that it will have the same wooden crests in some parts of the body.
However, when the original owner gets in the eyesight of SCP-3238-A, this one will automatically try to kill it. If it does succeed in this task, SCP-3238-A will act normally again as hoped from the original specimen specie.
It has been proven that SCP-3238 works on another bird SCP´s, such as SCP-659 and SCP-1265-A, in both cases showing traits of wooden crests.
Addendum SCP-3238-A-01:
A feather of SCP-659 was used on SCP-3238 the day ██/██/20██. The experiment was successful and SCP-3238-A proved having the same capabilities as SCP-659, both in physical and intellectual issues. SCP-3238-A was putted inside of the same type of cage used in SCP-659 and was putted in front of SCP-659, the results being SCP-3238-A having the same behavior as in previous experiments with other animals. This specimen of SCP-3238-A has been placed in custody of Doctor ██████ for future researches and is currently leading the investigation.
