Special Containment Procedures:

Only one entrance to SCP-XXX shall be allowed to be accessible at one time. This entrance is to be secured with no less than 2 sets of steel blast doors no less than 1.5m thick each. Any movement of personnel into and out of SCP-XXXX shall be done through these doors. At no point should both sets of blast doors be open at one time, personnel entering SCP-XXXX should wait for the exterior doors to close before opening the interior doors and proceeding into SCP-XXXX. The reverse procedure shall be used to exit SCP-XXXX. The area between the two sets of blast doors should measure no less than, 8x8x10m in order to allow for personnel and medium sized equipment. A class IV security checkpoint disguised as a disused London Underground rail station shall be maintained at the entrance to SCP-XXXX. Any movement of personnel or instances of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXX-2 through this checkpoint shall be controlled by MTF ∑-12 (Beef Eaters). MTF ∑-12 shall also oversee any excursions into and recovery of any objects from SCP-XXXX as well as the proper cataloging of any instances of SCP-XXXX-2. A secondary containment area capable of holding Safe Class objects for study shall be maintained in the area of the checkpoint. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 classed Euclid or above and able to be removed from SCP-XXXX shall be taken to the nearest relevant Foundation site for study and given their own SCP number. Should any instance of SCP-XXXX-1 be found outside of SCP-XXXX or any currently unknown entrances be discovered or created, MTF ∑-13 (The Oakum Boys) shall be charged with sealing any entrances to SCP-XXXX and the recovery of any instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a series of vaults and rooms located approximately [redacted] meters below the city of London. The total dimensions and area of SCP remans undetermined as temporal and special anomalies within certain areas of SCPXXXX prevent any accurate survey. It is not known if these anomalies are inherent to SCP-XXXX or are the result of instances of SCP-XXXX-1.These rooms are in some locations attached to any of the numerous existing tunnel systems beneath London either intentionally or by structural collapse of the walls separating SCP-XXXX from these other tunnel systems. Inside these rooms are a number of anomalous objects (designated SCP-XXX-1) of various types and classes (for more information see addendum SCP-XXXX-A). Also contained within SCP-XXXX are a number of documents (Designated SCP-XXXX-2) that make up a catalog of objects within SCP-XXXX and various experiments conducted with them as well as documents detailing the attempts at acquisition and containment of various instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Many of these documents are severely damaged from either non-anomalous water and mold damage or the actions of various instances of SCP-XXXX-1(for more information see addendum SCP-XXXX-B). Various documents and plaques within SCP-XXXX appear to refer to this location as the “Royal Archive of Para-Scientific Artifacts”. Foundation records indicate that this organization predated the Foundation and was one of ██ “founding groups” which [REDACTED].

+ Addendum SCP-XXXX-A

[Within SCP-XXXX are numerous instances of SCP-XXXX-1. These instances which could easily be removed have been contained and studied at other Foundation locations. However, there are an unknown number of SCP-XXXX-1 remaining within SCP-XXXX. Several of these objects which are considered contained within SCP-XXXX are summarized below.

- An unknown number of shrunken heads which appear to be in the tradition of natives of the Amazon River basin. These heads appear and vanish randomly without any known cause and float approximately 1.2m above the ground. These objects have been observed to speak to researchers in an unknown dialect. These entities appear to be non-violent and pose no immediate threat to researchers entering SCP-XXXX

- A suit of armor approximately 1.8m tall of the type typical of knights of the Teutonic order of the mid to late 1200s. The suit of armor is complete with a wooden shield and Germanic longsword. This object is located in the SW corner of SCP-XXXX in front of a large, ornate wood and iron door. Any attempts to reach this door are met with violent attack from the suit of armor, as are any attempts to remove said armor from SCP-XXXX. This object appears impervious to modern, anomalous, and period weaponry.

- A large creature resembling a dragon as depicted in late 12th century Chinese art. This entity is made up entirely of coins of various metals, countries of origin, and time periods. This entity is extremely hostile toward any foundation personnel and appears to move about SCP-XXXX at will, appearing and attacking foundation personnel at various locations. This entity has attempted escape from SCP-XXXX by attacking the blast doors numerous times. Any attempts at further containment or removal of this entity from SCP-XXXX have been unsuccessful.]

+ Addendum SCP-XXXX-B

Housed in various locations within SCP-XXXX are caches of documents referred to as SCP-XXXX-2. Most of these documents are damaged beyond usefulness. However there have been several documents recovered partially intact detailing the experimentation on various instances of SCP-XXXX-1. Below are couple examples of the more well-preserved documents.

Expedition Charter RAPSA-525-051
Purpose: To test the effectiveness of Archived Specimen 525 in preserving the health and life of persons in the most extreme conditions.
Officers: Lord P.T. Bright PhD, Capt. E. Shackleton
Experiment Summary:
Capt. E. Shackleton shall be charged with overseeing this expedition and recording all relevant data on the effects of Archive Specimen 525. All members of the landing party and the crew of the HMS Endurance shall be exposed to Specimen 525 prior to disembarking from the ship. The party is to attempt a traverse of the Antarctic continent which has been deemed an unsurvivable task under normal circumstances. It is expected that the anomalous effects of 525 will provide some protection from death on this expedition. Should all or some members survive the expedition, 525 is to be returned to the Royal Archive of Para-Scientific Artifacts and the data from the experiment studied for potential uses in wartime. Should no members survive this experience the HMS Endurance is to sail directly back to London to ensure the safe keeping of Specimen 525.

Purpose: To explore the temporal and special anomaly that has been given the Archive Specimen number 1504, and to ascertain the usefulness of this anomaly for the purposes of commerce, intelligence, and wartime maneuvers.
