Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is to be housed in Site-██. It is to be kept in a standard containment locker in Storage Wing-18 in Site-██. Any unauthorized personnel trying to access SCP-XXXX's containment locker are to be detained for questioning.
Any testing requiring the use of SCP-XXXX are to be authorized by Level-2 personnel or higher.
Description:SCP-XXXX is an 16.9 fl oz plastic Pepsi brand soda bottle, with approximately 74% of it consumed. The area inside SCP-XXXX is anomalously large, with a seemingly infinite amount of liquid residing inside of SCP-XXXX. While SCP-XXXX looks like an ordinary plastic bottle of soda, its anomalous properties are only present once a subject has ingested SCP-XXXX. Once a subject ingests SCP-XXXX, subject will no longer possess the need, nor the ability to sleep.
Subject will also experience most symptoms of fatigue,(i.e, chronic tiredness, muscle weakness, slowed reflexes and responses.), although different symptoms have been documented. Subjects ingesting SCP-XXXX will also experience what seems to be Fatal Familial Insomnia(FFI). Subjects will experience many FFI symptoms(eg, cognitive decline, ataxia). All documented tests have resulted in the subject either committing suicide from prolonged sleep deprivation resulting in insanity, or collapsing from exhaustion from said sleep deprivation. The only known "cure" to SCP-XXXX's effects, have been the use of one (1) pill from SCP-500. Any attempts to find additional cures to SCP-XXXX's effects have remained inconclusive.
As a result of the anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX, no Pepsi brand cola bottles are to be allowed in site-██, any and all sightings Pepsi cola bottles are to be reported to the security team immediately. Any staff found ingesting SCP-XXXX are to be retained for future study, and clearance levels are to be removed.
Addendum:Until further notice, all tests requiring the use and/or ingestion of SCP-XXXX are to be halted, unless further testing is required by O5 Council.
