Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is required to be secured inside a cardboard box at all times. There is no requirement for a lid, so long as it is in a cardboard box. It must sit upon its "lips" as to not attract dialogue. A gas mask must be used and filters may only be used once (the filters must be renewed before entering a populated room.) the filters must be changed in an airlock between the SCP room and the operations room.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small sphere-like object with similar measures of a ping-pong ball
(43mm exactly) and has the pigment and texture of human skin. Chemical compounds of the object have also a striking resemblance of human skin. The entity has the "ability" to persuade any nearby people or persons into committing suicide. There have been 2 known instances of this object "talking" one Class-D personnel and one civilian (as to how it was found.).
The object is known to release 2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-Pyrimidinetrione, ion(1-) (barbiturates), which is known to slow down the central nervous system. The 2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-Pyrimidinetrione, ion(1-) seems to be mixed with another chemical that is similar to that of melatonin (N-[2-(5-methoxy-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl]) and seems to make the personnel within breathing distance tired and slow. The subject seems to only successfully convince people into suicide when the person/persons have a low dopamine release rate per-day. The two chemical products make the person/persons within hearing and breathing distance almost instantaneously change from their previous mood.
