Special Containment Procedures: The entrance to SCP-5415 is to be guarded by at least 5 security personnel at all times, and a perimeter of twenty (20) meters is to be secured around SCP-5415 by a chain-link fence of three (3) meters in height.

Due to SCP-5415's proximity to Site 75-Dim, operations regarding SCP-5415 are to be administrated by Site-Director Dr. Ulysses. All exploration and research missions are to be approved at the discretion of Dr. Ulysses.

All materials gathered from explorations of SCP-5415-2 are to be kept on site for forty-eight (48) hours after being acquired before being transported to Site 75-Dim for further research.

Description: SCP-5415 was discovered on ██-██-1987 after █████ & ██████ Inc. hired [DATA EXPUNGED] ltd. for a seismic survey contract. [DATA EXPUNGED] Ltd. employees and current POI's Jason █████, George ██████, Henry ████████, and Matt ██████ were surveying ███km ████ of [DATA EXPUNGED] in the North West Territories, Canada. At ██:██pm on ██-██-1987, a seismic charge was set off, and discovered a small, completely empty cavity, close to the surface of the earth under Mt. [DATA EXPUNGED]. ███████ Ltd. employees returned on ██-██-1987 and set more charges to confirm the existence of the cavity and study it further. From ██-██-1987 to ██-██-1987, they studied seismic charts created by the cavity. After searching the base of Mt. [DATA EXPUNGED] the employees discovered the entrance to SCP-5415.

Returning on ██-██-1987, Jason █████, George ██████, Henry ████████, and Matt ██████, entered SCP-5415. They arrived in the hamlet of [DATA EXPUNGED] on ██-██-1987. In the hamlet, the four men discussed a room filled with "portals" around ███km █████ of the hamlet with locals. Embedded Agent H█████ heard of this and relayed the information back to Site-██ command. Agent H█████ approached the four men and asked if they could show him, to which they obliged. On ██-██-1988, Agent H█████ and the four men traveled to SCP-5415. After relaying back to Site-██ command confirming the existence of SCP-5415, all communication between Agent H█████ ceased. The current whereabouts of Agent H█████, Jason █████, George ██████, Henry ████████, and Matt ██████ are unknown, and all are considered POIs.

SCP-5415 refers to a collection of anomalous places, designated as SCP-5415-1 to SCP 5415-2, located in a cave at [DATA EXPUNGED], NWT, Canada. The area around [DATA EXPUNGED] has been bought by an Site 75, and is being operated under the guise of expanding mining operations in the region.

SCP-5415-1

SCP-5415-1 is a pocket dimension located at the base of Mt. [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-5415-1 serves as the connection point between our world and SCP-5415-2, and is impossible to access by any means besides the apparent entrance. SCP-5415-1 is lined with a black material similar in structure and composition to quartz, but has much higher density. Small sources of white light can be seen appearing and disappearing throughout the walls, suggesting that it is a translucent material.SCP-5415-1 is a translucent material weighing 50kg per 30cm³ and presents no anomalous effects when separated from the rest of SCP-5415-1.

All radio, GPS, and other signals are incapable of being transmitted into or from SCP-5415-1. When a person enters SCP-5415-1 the time within SCP-5415-1 will be shorter by a factor of almost ten (10) times. Tests have concluded that clocks, watches, and timers are affected by this anomaly, resulting in devices that are set hours behind when exiting SCP-5415-1. Audio and Visual recordings have yielded the same results, with both recorded files as long as the time perceived within SCP-5415-1. All attempts to mine or otherwise collect samples of SCP-5415-1 have resulted in failure.¹.

Item: Two (2) Standard Pickaxes measuring 90cm with a weight of one (1) kilogram.

Test: Research assistants W███ an L████ enter SCP-5415-1 at 13:00. W███ and L████ attempted to collect SCP-5415-1 for approximately thirty (30) minutes. After no progress had been made, W███ and L████ left and emerged from SCP-5415-1 at 18:00

Note: It appears that physical items cannot damage SCP-5415-1, or human strength is insufficient in being able to break it. Further testing Approved - Dr. Ulysses

Item: One (1) gasoline operated jackhammer.

Test: Research assistants W███ and L████ enter SCP-5415-1 at 13:00. W███ and L████ turn on the Jackhammer and start to mine at SCP-5415-1. Approximately 25 minutes in, the Jackhammer slips and crushes research assistant L████'s right foot. Assistant researcher W███ emerges from SCP-5415-1 at 17:40 carrying research assistant L████, who is treated by on-site medical staff. No damage was visible to SCP-5415-1 when the Jackhammer was retrieved.

Test: Research assistants W███ and D████ enter SCP-5415-1 at 13:00 equipped with hard-hats, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. W███ and D████ turn on the Jackhammer and start to mine at SCP-5415-1. Approximately 1 hour in, W███ and D████ have made no progress. Research assistants W███ and D████ exit SCP-5415-1 at approximately 23:00

Note: Testing with physical-blunt tools seems to be ineffective. Proposal for Saws and Drills is being considered. - Dr. Ulysses

Item: One (1) 30cm diameter stone-cutter

Test: Research assistants W███ and D████ enter SCP-5415-1 at 13:00 equipped with hard-hats, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. W███ and D████ turn on the Stone-cutter and start to dig into SCP-5415-1. Approximately 1 hour in, W███ and D████ have made no progress. Research assistants W███ and D████ exit SCP-5415-1 at approximately 23:00. Further inspection of the stone-cutter shows that the blade had been worn down 7.5cm.

Note: I'm suspending physical tests and suggest we try Plasma cutting tools in the future. - Dr. Ulysses

Item: One (1) Level ███ Plasma drill

Test: Research assistants W███ and D████ enter SCP-5415-1 at 13:00 equipped with hard-hats, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and Level 5 heat resistant full-body suits. W███ and D████ begin drilling and SCP-5415-1 begins to gain a red hue. W███ and D████ continue focusing the drill onto SCP-5415-1 until [DATA EXPUNGED] occurs at ██:██, resulting in their deaths and the destruction of the drill. Despite the estimated ███ decibels, this would have generated, no on-site staff report hearing this. After no news has been heard from W███ and D████ for over 12 hours outside of SCP-5415-1, guards entered SCP-5415-1 and found their bodies with the destroyed drill.

Note: Testing with SCP-5415-1 is suspended until further notice. Testing in the future with anomalous objects is under consideration. - Dr. Ulysses

Item: One (1) D-class personnel equiped with SCP-117

Test: D-Class 1567-1 is given SCP-117 and accompanied by two guards along with research assistant L████ into SCP-5415 at 13:00. D-class 1567-1 is instructed to take out SCP-117 and attempt to mine SCP-5415-1. At approximately 02:00 the next morning, security personnel entered SCP-5415 to investigate why the crew sent in hadn't surfaced yet, and discovered 4 charred and mutilated bodies along with SCP-117 and a 30cm³ of SCP-5415-1. Upon autopsy of the four bodies, it was discovered that all four died of blunt fore trauma, and acute radiation poisoning. Testing revealed the bodies radiated a reading of █████ rad(s). The improper handling of the bodies led to ██ more on-site personnel deaths before they were disposed of properly.

SCP-5415-2

SCP-5415-2 is a infinitely large room located at the end of SCP-5415-1. Current estimates place the room at the relative size of our universe. Whether this is an entirely different universe or SCP-5415-2 is a place that exists somewhere in the space of our universe is unknown, however the area SCP-5415-2 occupies appears to be somewhere within the Crab Nebula.

A large platform approximately 25m² made of the same material as SCP-5415-1 extends from the exit of SCP-5415-1. Along the edges of the platform "portals", hereon referred to as SCP-5415-2 instances, appear and disappear. The amount of portals on the platform varies from one (1) to thirty (30) at a time. Each SCP-5415-2 instance is the size of a standard door frame found on earth (91.44 x 203.2 cm). SCP-5415-2 instances will exists for periods of forty-eight (48) to seventy-two (72) hours, in which they will randomly choose a time between that period to close instantly. As of 05-07-2025, 7 expeditions have been conducted inside of SCP-5415-2.

Personnel and Equipment: MTF Alpha-7 (Silver Surfers) equipped with thirty-two (32) hours of oxygen per-person and full-body Corrosive protection suits. Video and Audio recording equipment were also provided.

Date of Appearance: The instance appeared on 07-26-2005 at 06:00. five (5) hours were spent studying the instance.

Gravitational Force: 10.6 m/s²

Atmosphere: 12% oxygen, 40% carbon, 20% helium, and 26% nitrogen

Surrounding area: Acidic pits similar to those on earth.

Captain Lewis: OK men we were approved for this mission directly by Dr. Ulysses, so lets make him proud. De-brief has already informed us that this planet is similar to earth, but not exactly. Gravity here is a bit stronger and there is less oxygen and more carbon. The surrounding area is Acidic pits, so don't fall in. Lets move out.

MTF Alpha-7 proceeds single file through the Instance and observe the surrounding area.

Captain Lewis: We don't have much time so be fast. I want Infantry one to four to head to the tree line and collect plant samples. five and six stay here and collect soil and liquid samples from the lakes.

Squadrons divide as commanded and proceed to locations.

Private Smith: Sargent, Captain, come look at this.

Staff Sargent Johnson and Captain Lewis approach private Smith at one of the Sulfur Lakes.

Sargent Johnson: What is it Smith?

Private Smith: Look at this

Private Smith holds up a sample collection vial; inside is a small fish-like creature. The fish pivots and appears to look at Captain Lewis and Sargent Johnson.

Private Smith: I was collecting samples of the liquid and it swam up from the dirt and went into the vial. Started fuckin' looking at me wherever I went.

Captain Johnson: Could be Sentient. Make sure it's sealed up tight and put it somewhere safe. Good fi-

Multiple Gunshots are heard and yelling. Tree line near squadrons one to four is seen shaking and the sound of wood cracking is heard. More gunshots are heard. Video recordings of Personnel in the forest that were recovered are unusable.

Captain Lewis: Fucking hell. Looks like something big.

Captain Lewis grabs his radio and speaks into it.

Captain Lewis: Everyone rendezvous back at the Portal. Something has come out of the woods and is attacking us, so make haste.

All Personnel in the sulfur lakes pack their equipment quickly and proceed to the SCP-5415-2 instance. A few seconds later, multiple people from the squadrons assigned to the forest emerge from the tree line running.

Private Wiggum: FUCKING RUN! GET BACK INTO THE PORTAL!

Private Wiggum trips, dropping a sample case. He then turns back to the tree line, raising his rifle.

Private Wiggum: ah fucking bitch! Thought I would at least die on my own God damn planet.

A large Creature bursts out of the forest and continues to run towards fleeing members of MTF Alpha-7. Private Wiggum Fires multiple shots at the Creature. It turns its attention to Private Wiggum and runs towards him.

Captain Lewis: Shit! Someone go through and get some heavy weaponry. We don't have much time!

Multiple personnel return through the SCP-5415-2 instance. Private Wiggum Stands back up and pulls the pins on multiple grenades.

Private Wiggum: Get fucked.

The creature makes it to Private Wiggum and proceeds to consume him entirely. Three seconds later multiple explosions erupt from the Creatures neck and chest. The Creature staggers and falls into a Sulfer Lake.
