Special Containment Procedures: Entering SCP-XXXX is to be disallowed outside of testing. Any subjects who enter SCP-XXXX without proper permission are to be terminated upon exiting
SCP-XXXX. if the subject does not exit SCP-XXXX they are to be presumed MIA and no rescue or recovery is to be attempted, this is to minimize further loss of personnel.
Any subject found exiting SCP-XXXX that the foundation is unaware of entering is to be taken away for questioning, then if needed, either amnestics are to be administered or the subject is to be terminated.
The entrance to SCP-XXXX is to be held under 24-hour surveillance and any disruptions to the camera equipment are to be reported to the senior researcher assigned to SCP-XXXX
Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard suburban house that from the outside appears to have 4 rooms set up in a square grid. But from the inside, walking clockwise through the rooms reveal many more rooms. It is of note that the interior of SCP-XXXX does not follow the rules of euclidian geometry Exploration logs have estimated there to be roughly ███ rooms anticlockwise and ███ clockwise, totaling with ████ rooms that are have been explored in total as of writing this document.
Addendum: █ of the total 7 exploration logs can be found below, all personnel tasked with exploring SCP-XXXX have been equipped with the same standard wired audio-visual camera and microphone feed, other equipment is specified during the logs themselves.
Foreword: Subject sent into SCP-XXXX is designated D-88987, who is a 27-year-old African-American male of below-average height and build for his age, the subject has no history of violent crime, It is to be noted that D-88987 has requested to carry his "Lucky Coin" which is a standard American 50 cent coin minted in the year 2015, Permission to Carry the coin has been granted.
Other than the aforementioned coin, D-88987 also has with him a standard-issue Backpack for retrieval of materials and items which are deemed important enough to be brought back from SCP-XXXX, One bottle of water was also given to the subject before he was sent in. The subject was also given the standard WAVTD (Wired Audio Visual Transmission Device) Which is attached to a 1200 meter wire that transmits Audio/Visual information back to control, it is important to note that the WAVTD can be drawn back in via retracting the wire.
Additional Information: Test takes place on ██/██/██ and the Major Scientist assigned to SCP-XXXX is Dr. M████ Bjornson, who is referred to as "Control" for most of this transcription.
Begin Log: Control Instructs D-88987 to activate the WAVTD, subject does as asked, and the feed shows the front door of a seemingly normal suburban house, D-88987 is instructed to Walk into the house and through the front door. The Front door has the number 0 marked above the doorframe. Once inside D-88987 stands within what seems to be a non-anomalous front room you'd expect to be inside a house of this area and wealth. D-88987 remarks about the empty photo-frame sitting on top of a coffee table, Control asks D-88987 to place it into his backpack, Subject does as told, There are two doors inside of the room D-88987 is in, one marked -1 on the doorframe, and the other marked 1, after asking which he should proceed through control decides to go through 1.
Room 1 Consists of a kitchen room consistent with the design of room 0, two windows look out into the Secure location where SCP-XXXX is being held. D-88987 waves out of the window to a Guard, the guard does not respond, a bowl of fake fruits sits in the middle of the kitchen island, D-88987 does not pick up on the fact that they are fake and bites into one of the apples. Control asks that D-88987 take one of the fruits from the bowl before going into the next room, D-88987 places the bitten apple into the backpack and moves into room 2.
Room 2's layout is once again consistent with the rest of the house, the room is a typical lounge room with a flatscreen TV, What's to note about this room is that a fold-out ladder which leads to an attic is situated above the couch, D-88987 is instructed to move the couch out of the way and proceed into the attic, D-88987 takes longer than predicted to move the couch out of the way due to him being of below-average strength. D-88987 then tries to reach the ladder to flip it out, when he cannot reach he pushes the glass coffee table underneath and stands on it, he flips the ladder out and climbs up into the attic, the windows of the attic show scenery consistent with the containment area, but no guards can be seen from the window, and the window is not visible from control which is stationed outside.
D-88987 is requested to go through the numerous boxes in the attic, D-88987 pulls out Christmas decorations and many children's toys you would expect to find inside a house of this nature, D-88987 remarks that the room is very hot and requests to open a window, his request is denied, D-88987 finds a child's "piggy-bank", when opened 3 50 cent coins fall out, D-88987 puts the piggy bank and the coins into the backpack, he then requests to leave the attic, when climbing out of the attic he stumbles on one of the rungs and cracks the Glass coffee table beneath him, D-88987 is seemingly unaware of this and proceeds into room 3.
Room 3 looks to be the master bedroom, the door to the ensuite is marked with the number 4, empty picture frames sit on the bedside tables, D-88987 is requested to go through the dresser and bedside tables, inside D-88987 finds normal clothes that are nothing to note, D-88987 is not requested to put any clothes in his backpack, there is nothing inside of the drawers of the bedside tables. D-88987 tugs at his collar and asks to open the window, his request is denied once again, he is then told to move onto room 4.
Room 4 is a bathroom-ensuite, the medicine cabinet is open when D-88987 enters the room, the cabinet contains a bottle of pills labeled "PILLS", D-88987 puts the pills into his backpack, he closes the cabinet to reveal a mirror does not show D-88987's reflection in it, but instead shows the reflection of a Middle-aged Caucasian man Shaving, the man seems to be unaware of D-88987, and appears to not make any progress with his shaving efforts, once wiping the shaving cream off his beard is still there, he then attempts to shave it off again, to no avail, the man does not seem to be annoyed by this and continues to shave even though no progress is being made , D-88987 is requested to take the mirror out off of the wall and put it into his backpack, The mirror continues to show the man shaving from the same perspective despite being moved. D-88987 seems amused by the mirror.
Before moving onto Room 5 D-88987 is requested to test if the bath and tap water run properly, D-88987 is then instructed to empty his bottle of water and fill it with the water from the tap, D-88987 complies however grudgingly. He takes a sip before pouring the rest out into the bathtub, the water splashes up from the bathtub and onto his lower pant leg and shoe. D-88987 is seemingly unaware of this and is told to move into Room 5.
Room 5 Is the "Garage" of the house. Inside is a very worn out 1967 Chevrolet Corvette, which takes up most of the room, a mechanics creeper1 rolls out from underneath the car and a Wrench floats up into the air, moved by what seems to be an invisible man, this startles D-88987. D-88987 is requested to put his hand into the area where the man's torso would be if he could see him. D-88987 is confused by the request, Control then requests that he try and touch the invisible man, D-88987 is once again left confused. D-88987's incompetence is starting to agitate the people at control. Control then asks D-88987 to just reach out into the air and feel for an invisible guy, D-88987 does as requested and his hand moves through the air as if nothing was there. The wrench continues to float through the air as if it were being held by an invisible man, and the Mechanics Creeper then rolls back under the car.D-88987 is even more confused than he was before. At this point, Control is considering canceling the exploration and redoing it with a D-Class more fit for the task. Control Decides against it and Instructs D-88987 to ignore everything in room 5 and progress to room 6, D-88987 shrugs his shoulders and moves on into room 6 which appears to be the bedroom of a very young female. The word "CASSIE" can be seen hanging from the wall above a crib which looks suitable for an infant between the ages of 6 and 18 months. D-88987 walks over to the crib and looks inside he remarks about no baby being in the crib, and how he's thankful because he doesn't want to carry the baby because he "doesn't know how". Control asks D-88987 to take the baby's blanket instead, the word "Blankie" is sewn into the fabric. D-88987 reports it as feeling warm, and instead of placing it into his backpack he holds it in his hands, kneading it slightly.
Control Doesn't have to ask D-88987 to move through to Room 7, which appears to just be a door outside, into a backyard of sorts, the door to room 8 can be seen on a wall of the house perpendicular to the door to room 6, a Clothesline can be seen rotating slightly in the wind, and D-88987 complains that it is too hot outside, and puts his hand over his brow to shield his eyes from the sun. The picket fence that shows the boundary of the "Room" looks out onto a suburban neighborhood. No people can be seen in this neighborhood.
D-88987 is asked to move into Room 8, he quickly moves into room 8 complaining and muttering to himself about the heat. Room 8 has three windows which are all situated on the same wall yet all look out onto different landscapes, one is a snowy tundra, another being a desert, and the third seems to be a view of earth from space. D-88987 opens the Tundra window without asking and is thrown across the room with a blast of snow and wind. Control gets very aggravated at him for doing so, and they demand he "Straighten up" and only do things when ordered to. D-88987 battles the wind as he walks back to the window to close it and does so after about 2 minutes of fighting the wind. Afterward, he Remarks that the coldness "felt good".
D-88987 presses his face up against the tundra window, and repeatedly ignores Control's orders to continue to room 9, and only does so after 3 minutes. Room 9 appears to be the guest room of the house. Many cardboard boxes sit piled up on top of each other. D-88987 is instructed to take a look inside the boxes, after doing so it reveals that the boxes are filled with many copies of the 1993 movie "Jurassic Park". D-88987 pulls out at least 20 copies of the film before moving onto the second box, which is also filled with copies of the film, but in "Blu-ray" format. D-88987 is requested to take one of both Blu-ray, and standard before moving into room 10.
Room 10 is an in-home office room. A desk sits in the corner with an apple brand laptop on it. D-88987 is requested to attempt to sign in to the laptop, he is unsuccessful and met with a "low battery" screen, D-88987 tries again by pressing the power button harder, this does not work. Control asks D-88987 to move through to room 11 with the laptop in his backpack. D-88987 complains about the weight of the backpack, saying that it has become extremely heavy. It is unknown at this point in time if D-88987 is just weak, or that the computer is just extremely heavy.
Room 11 appears to be a more "open" bathroom in the way that it is much larger than the ensuite. the walls and floor of the room are tiled with Square shaped tiles, but 5 tiles meet at a corner rather than the expected 4. The tiles, not unlike the house, seem not to obey the rules of euclidian geometry. The tiles will be extracted by another exploration team that possesses the capabilities of removing bathroom tiles. D-88987 is requested to inspect the medicine cabinet, which reveals it to be non-anomalous.
D-88987 appears bored and requests to move into the next room. Room 12 appears to be an outside area not unlike room 7. A single child's slide sits in the center of the "Room". D-88987 is instructed to take a closer look at the slide for any anomalous properties, D-88987 walks over to the Slide and steps up onto the bottom rung of the ladder which leads to the top. D-88987 looks down and cries out in fear, he looks down and the camera feed shows what looks like a 200-meter drop down from the bottom rung, D-88987 remarks that he has a fear of heights and Steps up onto the next rung, the camera feed shows another 200 meters being added to the distance between the ground and D-88987.
D-88987 Puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out his "Lucky coin" he fumbles and drops the coin, and soon thereafter loses his grip on the rung and falls to the ground. D-88987 cries out in pain and the camera feed shows that his legs are both broken. Bone is visible out of his left leg, D-88987 screams several expletives before passing out due to what is presumed blood loss.
End Log: D-88987 was recovered from the interior of SCP-XXXX and was placed in intensive care for the remainder of his month. Recovered materials log can be found below.
Notes: Better suited D-Class are a must-have during the next exploration attempt, and more caution is to be put in place to prevent accidents such as the before from happening again
