Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1A is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment chamber on Site-██. They may request items, and requests must be approved by a level 3 or higher researcher. SCP-XXXX-1A may, upon request, use any services offered to low level staff, such as the site gym, library, psychiatrist or physician.

SCP-XXXX-2A and SCP-XXXX-2B are to be kept in a standard anomalous item containment locker, and must only be handled by SCP-XXXX-1A to avoid damage. SCP-XXXX-1A is permitted to handle SCP-XXXX-2A and SCP-XXXX-2B for at least five hours weekly, to ensure proper maintenance. SCP-XXXX-1A is permitted to test SCP-XXXX-2A and -2B for one hour each month, using Site-██’s Aerial-Vehicle-Test-Chamber to ensure SCP-XXXX-2A and -2B’s continued function. Scranton Reality Anchors should always be deployed to nullify the thaumaturgic symbols on SCP-XXXX-2A and -2B, except when SCP-XXXX-1A is testing them. During testing periods, Scranton Reality Anchors should be kept on standby in case of an attempted containment breach.

If SCP-XXXX-1A's behaviour is unsatisfactory, such as any escape attempts or general resistance to requests made by researchers, no such testing should be allowed and SCP-XXXX-1A should not be allowed access to SCP-XXXX-2A or 2B until such behaviour is corrected.

SCP-XXXX-1B is to be kept in SCP-XXXX-1A's containment chamber.

if SCP-XXXX-1A attempts to breach containment without the use of SCP-XXXX-2A or -2B, personel should attempt to recontain SCP-XXXX-1A using non-lethal methods. If SCP-XXXX-1A is in possession of either SCP-XXXX-2A or -2B when breaching containment, Scranton Reality Anchors should be used to nullify the thaumaturgic symbols on the items

Description: SCP-XXXX-1A is a human 182 centimeters in height and weighing 65 kilograms. SCP-XXXX-1A’s weight does not vary, despite a minimal diet. SCP-XXXX-1A claims to not need food, though it still requests it as a comfort. SCP-XXXX-1A has shown itself to be above average intelligence and skilled in craftsmanship.

SCP-XXXX-1B is the cremated remains of a human who is genetically the offspring of SCP-XXXX-1A. It is kept in a bronze jar created by SCP-XXXX-1A which has markings in a language resembling ancient greek. SCP-XXXX-1A claims the remains were of its father, though no genetic material could be retrieved to confirm this claim.

SCP-XXXX-2A and -2B are a pair wing-like structures, made of bronze, feather and wax, with thaumaturgic symbols engraved into the metal 'skeleton'. Both are maintained by SCP-XXXX-1A, who demonstrates an intimate knowledge of the function of the symbols, though he refuses to share the meaning with researchers. Researchers have been unable to translate the symbols. The structure of SCP-XXXX-2A and -2B would not permit flight, so it believed that the thaumaturgic symbols are the source of lift. The thaumaturgic symbols negatively affect the structure of the objects, requiring maintenance to retain their abilities. In the interest of research and to help better understand the objects, SCP-XXXX-1A is allowed to maintain the objects.

SCP-XXXX-2A and -2B give SCP-XXXX-1A immense strength and immunity to most forms of damage. For this reason, SCP-XXXX-1A must undergo physiological checkups twice a month to ensure continued containment and loyalty. Testing with D-Class has been ruled out, due to the danger the objects could pose if in the hadns of someone with malicious intent.

Addendum: For any researcher wishing to gain a better understanding of SCP-XXXX, previous revisions are available below.
