SCP-XXXX is a reality bending infohazard which alters localized reality to take on, and remain consistent with, qualities ascribed to it by viewers of SCP-XXXX. However, the viewer of SCP-XXXX has to believe the physical characteristics of SCP-XXXX for the object to alter the behavior and characteristics of SCP-XXXX1. When viewed by subjects with no prior knowledge of SCP-XXXX, the object will take the form of a seemingly random object.
When viewed by multiple subjects, SCP-XXXX will take on characteristics consistent with both viewer's interpretation of SCP-XXXX even if the characteristics the object takes on are contradictory or paradoxical. In all tests, subjects reported being aware of the object's changes in physical appearance, but found the changes to be normal or consistent with prior experiences with the form of SCP-XXXX. This effect of SCP-XXXX has been shown to eventually wear off after a period of two weeks.
Attempts to record SCP-XXXX to date have failed. The anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX carry to all known forms of physical media, but cease after initial viewing. Research into this is effect ongoing. Research into SCP-XXXX has ceased following Incident-XXXX-a
