Authors' Resources

Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Special Containment procedures: SCP-4XXX is currently installed on an IBM Personal Computer Model Number 5150, which is located in IT room 425 on the fourth floor of Site 19.

Description: SCP-4XXX is a rudimentary messaging program. The object does not possess a graphic interface, instead it uses a command line interface typical of 1980's programs. Despite being developed for Microsoft DOS operative system, the program is able to work on any computer or mobile devices owning a textual input device and a display.

SCP-4XXX does not require any connection, wired or wireless, to the internet or to the other end of the connection.
