Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5038 is to be kept in a locked room that contains SCP-5038-1. If it is removed from contact with SCP-5038-1 then it should be immediately supplied with a flat surface as soon as possible. Failure to supply a flat surface could result in a containment breach as SCP-5038 will look for any door window or surface to create SCP-5038-1 which could prove very dangerous and possibly lethal to any person who touches SCP-5038. Any person who comes into physical contact with SCP-5038 they will be transported to a private area for termination. If any person working or experimenting near or with SCP-5038 experiences any sensations of physical changes that would be the result of scratching or gouging they will be moved to another project immediately.

Description: SCP-5038 gouges out small paths always with a width of 1 centimeter in the floor through unknown means although the scratch marks look as if it was done with sharp nails. When SCP-5038 has made a path normally in weird rounded shapes the hole then becomes SCP-5038-1 extensive studies have shown that upon trying to touch this hole there seems to be a solid rounded object almost like a pipe all along SCP-5038-1. All test subjects have died shortly after touching SCP-5038-1 with extensive gut scratches wich what seemed to be sharp claws. If SCP-5038 creates 2 or more of SCP-5038-1 then all proceeding SCP-5038-1 will become SCP-5038-2. SCP-5038-2 does not seem to be different from SCP-5038-1 apart from the fact that SCP-5038-2 moves around the floors and walls very slowly and if touched will begin to turn all walls around it into more of SCP-5038-1. SCP-5038 does not seem to be visible to the naked eye and laser scans and x-rays trying to prove the existence of SCP-5038 have all proven false.
