Special Containment Procedures: SCP-8241 is to be kept in a shockproof box encased with rubber, In which can only be opened by level 3 personal. The box can be opened with remote access. The room in which SCP-8241 has multiple airlocks, and has its own ventilation system not connected to the facility to stop containment breach.

Description: SCP-8242 is a perfume bottle of 5cm x 2cm x 6cm. It is made of black glass, Which is non-transparent. The front of the bottle has the word 'Animal' in a fancy font on the front and a pink paw print. There are no other words or symbols on the bottle. SCP-8242 has a lid which is permanently screwed on, And SCP-8242 will not change weight after spraying, Making it impossible to know how much liquid is in there.

SCP-8242 is described as 'Any other strawberry perfume'. After 10-30 seconds of exposure to SCP-8242, Individuals will sneeze. After sneezing, Individuals will have 'grown' appendages of a mammal, there is no correlation between the person or the animal. changes will include be growing a tail, Growing ears and an increased sense of smell, Heightened strength of smell, And depending on the animal may change eyes, whiskers, teeth, and horns. These changes do not change the individual's behaviour, But there have been reports of 'Sudden craving for the grass' or 'Chasing the red dot'. Although most cases have been reported as mammals, A rouge D-class shot in Incident 16/04/20██ was found to have grown teeth similar to that of a shark, And grown gills around the neck. Autopsy shows that the gills were there to help to breathe in water, And did not affect the individuals breathing on land.

Incident 16/04/20██

During a containment breach, D-913453 managed to steal SCP-8242, And get to a security wing. After arriving, D-913453 put 43 sprays of SCP-8242 into the site ventilation, before being apprehended and terminated by on-site security.

TESTS

+ SCP-8242 Tests

TEST 1

Subjects: D-943619, White 26 male and D-649811, White 32 male

Procedure: D-943619 sprays SCP-8242 on to D-649811. D-649811 is wearing a gas mask

Results: Both D-943619 and D-649811 sneezed. Grew cat appendages

Analysis: SCP-8214 can not be prevented wearing gas masks.

TEST 2

Subjects: D-169846, Black 43 female and D-978623, White 35 female

Procedure: D-169846 sprays SCP-8242 on to D-649811. D-649811 is wearing a hazmat suit

Results: D-169846 grew bunny appendages. D-649811 was not affected. After 5 minutes of the first spray, D-649811 removed the hazmat suit, Sneezed, Grew cat appendages.

Analysis: Hazmat suits can be used to combat SCP-8242, But SCP-8242 lingers around for up to 5 minutes.

TEST 3

Subjects: D-169846, Black 43 female and D-887653, White male 23

Procedure: D-169846 sprays SCP-8242 on to D-887653. D-887653 is wearing a hazmat suit

Results: D-887653 was not affected. After 31 minutes of the first spray, D-978623 removed the hazmat suit, did not sneeze.

Analysis: SCP-8242 lingers for between 5-30 minutes after the first spray.

Site-██ has been dubbed 'The furry foundation' after incident 16/04/20██. All members in Site-██ are not allowed to leave, in fear of showing the effects of SCP-8242 to the public.
