Threat ID:

PTE-2777-Hibernia "The Hawthorn Confederation"

Authorized Response Level:

0 (Open Diplomacy)

Description:

The Hawthorn Confederation is a metanation comprising the six extant sidhe nations1; its holdings consist of territory in the British Isles as well as an indeterminate number of class-II pocket universes directly adjacent to this spacetime iteration. It is estimated that ~28,000 sidhe2 are citizens of one of these member nations. Formed in 1911 as a defensive pact in response to outside aggression, the Confederation adopted its current and final form in 1913 with the crowning of High Queen Niamh of Tir na nOg, who has remained its head of state ever since3.

The Confederation has existed in a state of peace since its formal creation, though its founding directly followed a war with the American Secure Containment Initiative that lasted from July 1911 to August 1911. The full details of this conflict are unknown, other than that the conflict ended with the then-independent Kingdom of Tir na nOg utilizing a thaumic superweapon4 to destroy the headquarters of ASCI's leadership in reprisal for their attacks on the then-independent Kingdom of Fomoire5.

The Confederation has been an ally of the Global Occult Coalition since 1947, this status having been formally confirmed in the Coalition's 2nd plenary session. As such, the Confederation is not considered a parathreat at this time, and this file exists to document the history of Coalition-Confederation relations and all pertinent events relating to the founding and operation of this nation for diplomatic purposes only.

Rules of Engagement:

Do not engage under any circumstances without a Council supermajority (80% of plenary) vote. If engaged by 2777 assets, immediately withdraw and seek further orders from High Command.

NOTE FROM THE DESK OF AMB. CORA SETON, PSYCHE DIVISON

I am embedding this note here, prior to the below interview, so there can be no future pleas of ignorance regarding the entity in question. If you are so unfortunate as to need to deal with this person directly, Moira nic Eirc is to be addressed *exclusively* as 'Your Grace' or 'Duchess Coruisk' unless explicitly directed otherwise. Under no circumstances should you use the style 'Your Majesty' or utter the phrase 'Crown Princess'; should you ignore this warning, the Coalition cannot ensure your safety and will not recover your person or your personal effects.

To understand why this warning was necessary, feel free to request a copy of the following documents: Incident Report B-1009-Hibernia, Incident Report B-1045-Hibernia, or Incident Report B-1088-Hibernia. Just don't be surprised when you find yourself missing two hours and half a bottle of amnestics.

Recorded Interview Log:

Date: 1/1/1990

/antigeronecss/code/1 leads to the exact same raw code as /component:raisatheme/code/1, but the former URL does not import as custom CSS, whereas the latter does. Is the 'component' part an integral part of Wikidot syntax?

Using the full filepath of an offsite CSS code block (http://www.scp-wiki.net/component:mcd-theme, from the main SCP wiki) does work. Thus, it is very likely that the 'component:' syntax is required for Wikidot page CSS.

CSS page must seemingly self-reference (include a CSS module block linking to itself at the very top)

The incredibly stupid idea of adding a raw HTML element consisting entirely of "<br>" to add vertical space between a collapsible and the GOC vertical line div actually works.
