Special Containment Procedures: SCP 5187 is kept in a box at site-22. Just don't plug it in to a computer or a power source. Anybody is allowed to use SCP-5187 with expressed permission from Dr. Chronsky.

Description: SCP-5187 consists of one Apple MacBook Pro, A cable adapter, and a Dyson brand projector. The projector is designated as SCP-5187-1, the computer will be SCP-5187-2. The projectors sound quality is pretty bad however, so Dr. Chronsky threw in a surround sound setup, understanding he could never get it back. DVDs inserted into 5187-2 are not allowed to be taken home due to not having an understanding of how 5187 works. Included DVDs now include every Star wars movie, Snakes on a Plane, Terminator and Terminator 2, Star Trek 1-4, The Maltese fountain, The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, all 3 films in The Dark Knight Trilogy, most Disney movies, and a lot more.
SCP 5187-1 and SCP 5187-2 were confiscated from a Washington DC public school on September 3rd after the solar eclipse of August 21st 2017.. The projector is able to display images like, from Dr Chronsky’s description “Like the Star Wars holograms, but with color”. The “Holograms” are solid in nature, demonstrated during test SCP 5187-A(See below), but not capable of directly inflicting wounds, also demonstrated during test Alpha. SCP 5187 does not display at a set scale, however people in movies inserted into 5187-2 and displayed by 5187-1 are generally less tall than a average height male and female, though during testing this was shown to vary.
SCP Test Alpha: A DVD of The Princess bride was inserted and a D-Class was told to put his hand in front of the swords during the famous “I am not left handed either” scene. The swords had no effect, But the Hand did cause the image to not project to the other side of the hand.
Incident 5187-Alpha- 3 D-Class requested permission to watch “The Shining” using 5187. One D Class who already had a existing medical condition had a heart attack and died in the middle of the movie.
SCP test Beta: A Class D loaded up Halo; Combat Evolved onto the computer and played through the first mission. It played as normal, with the gameplay in a vertical super-3d and the cutscenes in the horizontal super-3d the movies are played in.
