Item number: SCP XXXX [number will be determined later on]

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: The containment chamber is a 10m by 10m by 5m titanium room, on which the walls are 2.5m thick, lined with LED lighting. Surveillance cameras are located in the top 4 corners of the room, on which they are covered by a wire mesh box to prevent damage. There is 3 large safe doors to ensure that the SCP will not breach. The lamps must be replaced every 2 months. Level 4 or higher clearance is required to access the chamber, and upon entering, all personnel must be armed with non-lethal tranquilizer pistols and reflective suits (SCP is extremely hostile, and will do anything to escape, APPROACH WITH EXTREME CAUTION). Research is not permitted without permission of 2 Level 4 Senior Researchers, and tests must be done in groups of 4. SCP-XXXX is not to be left unattended in its chamber, and two guards must be outside the room at all times, wearing industrial ear defenders, and having a regular 4 hour shift change.

Description: SCP-XXXX has the body of a small school child, with the legs of a spider, claws of a lobster, and wings of a large bird. The overall height of the SCP is estimated to be 0.8m, and the wingspan is estimated to be 3m from both tips. Ant-like pincers populate its mouth, and demonic horns protrude from the back of the cranium. It has no eyes, but has two tiny ears that have impeccable hearing. Its body has a colour of black and white, making it difficult to detect in dimly light areas, such as caves. It must be fed a live bull every 60 days.

It first came into the interest of the SCP Foundation on [DATE REDACTED], when two young school boys went missing. They were later found, partially eaten and torn in half in a cave near the small town of [REDACTED], Hope County. In the cave, there was a distant sound of a child crying and begging for help. Search Team 3-091 went into the cave, looking for the child. [DATA REDACTED] and SCP [DATA REDACTED].

On [DATE REDACTED], the SCP came into attention again when a family of 6 went missing in the forest of [REDACTED]. Multiple Search Teams were deployed, and again, all 6 people were left, mangled, partially eaten, with contusions to the neck area. The SCP was stunned successfully, and transit to site [REDACTED] was successful.

Containment was a challenge, see Incidents XXXXa - XXXXc [number of incident will be determined later on].

Incident XXXXa: SCP had managed to breach the one safe door, and assisted SCP-[REDACTED] in its breach. An approximated 6 Level 4 researchers were killed, along with 3 security guards before being stunned. Course of action taken: contained in a temporary room of concrete, with dimensions 10m by 10m by 5m, whilst three new doors were installed into its containment chamber.

Incident XXXXb: SCP managed to influence two security guards to enter its chamber with the child-like cries, and killed both of them. It was not able to breach the two doors that were locked, but managed to break through the jammed door (door was jammed by one of the guards’ corpses). Course of action taken: guards are now required to wear industrial ear defenders, SCP transported to temporary room.

Incident XXXXc: SCP managed to destroy a total of 5 lights, and a team of 3 Level 4 personnel was sent into to the room to fix the lights, but were killed. Cause of action taken: Team of 4 were sent in and successfully stunned the SCP. Lights were repaired and corpses were retrieved.

Additional notes: SCP is extremely weak against horse tranquilizer, and any more than 4 tranquilizer darts will kill the SCP. Fire with extreme caution.
SCP is known to drop from the ceiling to kill its prey. Use surveillance cameras to check location of SCP before entering its chamber.
