Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is currently contained at Site-██, and is to be contained in a well-lit standard humanoid containment chamber with dimensions of at least 135 140 150 meters in every horizontal direction, and 8 meters vertically. The room is to contain ceiling-mounted (addendum: remotely-operated) surveillance cameras at every corner with a sufficient field of view to allow complete coverage of the opposite end of the chamber.

SCP-xxxx is to remain under intermittent constant observation at intervals of 30 minutes all times, and any changes to its position within the chamber recorded in the appropriate logs.

Any and all testing must be cleared by at least two (2) independent site researchers and requested at least three (3) days in advance all testing is suspended indefinitely pending relocation after incident xxxx-1

Description: SCP-xxxx is the apparent silhouette of a humanoid entity approximately 2.3 meters in height of indeterminate sex or age, as a result of its anomalous properties.

Any subject viewing SCP-xxxx from afar will observe what appears to be an indistinct, albeit distinctly tall, humanoid silhouette. Even in optimum lighting and viewing conditions, the entity will appear nondescript as if seen from an exceptionally far distance away. Any observers approaching the entity within 66.423 ± 0.002 68.931 ± 0.007 72.485 ± 0.019 meters will find the figure to apparently become increasingly difficult to see before becoming completely invisible and effectively completely transparent to all wavelengths of light.

Subjects will not typically notice this apparent vanishing unless explicitly pointed out, although testing suggests this to be a result of the slow, nondescript process of fading out of visibility rather than any sort of mind-altering effect.

Since its initial containment in 1███ scp-xxxx has been known to occasionally move throughout its containment chamber, although typically at speeds of less than 1 millimeter per second. The frequency and speed of its movement have significantly reduced since permanent surveillance was installed in 2███.

Subjects and objects near SCP-xxxx appear to still be physically as well as mentally affected by it, with subjects within ~10 meters of SCP-xxxx's triangulated position describing sensations ranging from general discomfort to the onset of panic attacks, even among subjects without knowledge of SCP-xxxx's proximity. Subjects attempting to make physical contact with SCP-xxxx seem to experience significant difficulty, with one reporting the sensation as "similar to trying to push two magnets' wrong ends together". Determining whether physical contact is possible or not has proven so far unsuccessful.

Addendum 1: SCP-xxxx-1:
A researcher's analysis of archival footage of SCP-xxxx's surveillance cameras have determined that its radius of effect had increased by more than 2 meters between the years 2███ and 2███. Further research into this apparent rate of growth has been approved.

Addendum 1: SCP-xxxx-2:
Further investigation into the growth of SCP-xxxx's radius of effect fits with a model of exponential growth of exponent 1.███ per day. If this holds true, it is projected to expand to a radius of ████ meters by the year 2███. Fortunately, the current containment chamber is large enough to contain this for the next ██ years.

Incident Log xxxx-1:

During the course of events of the low-grade containment breach of 2███/██/██ and the subsequent radiation of the surrounding chambers with Oganesson-295 (see [DATA EXPUNGED] for full report) surveillance of SCP-xxxx was paused for 15 hours during the evacuation. Upon return to the chamber, SCP-xxxx's door was discovered to have been breached with a significant amount of force, although SCP-xxxx remained inside the chamber at roughly the same position last triangulated before the containment breach.

However, during the following weeks of cleanup, several staff reported remarkably consistently to the site's psychologist several 'indistinct figures' at the end of hallways. This was initially unable to be confirmed due to the mostly down-mounted cameras in the specific section of the site, but after the installation of horizontally-mounted cameras (as urged by Dr. ████) further entities resembling SCP-xxxx's effects were confirmed in the hallways, with cameras at times simultaneously viewing up to 6 separate entities in various parts of the facility.

The appearances of these entities, henceforth designated SCP-xxxx-1 through SCP-xxxx-6, are hesitantly linked with those of five D-class personnel and one researcher, originally thought to be killed in the initial containment breach, although none of their bodies had been conclusively identified during the cleanup.

Efforts to contain these further entities are ongoing, and in the intervening time SCP-xxxx has been temporarily re-designated from the Safe class to Euclid pending further details of the incident. Relocation to a more secure containment chamber is additionally pending approval.
