Special Containment Procedures: Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 cannot be contained due to their behaviour and anomalous effects. When an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is reported, it is to be kept watch of by Mobile Task Force Omicron-44 ("Persistent Poachers").

Description: SCP-XXXX is a phenomenon whereby animals become incapable of capture, trapping and/or being killed due to anomalous means. These animals are all designated SCP-XXXX-1 as the traits are applicable to most instances. Their peripheral vision, regardless of what the range of vision is for non-anomalous members of their respective species, is 360° on all orientations. Their senses in general have been heightened as to hear footsteps that are increasingly getting closer and the sense of smell is just as if not even more heightened. In an attempt to sedate one via highly potent sedative spread across the grass on it projected route, one instance showed signs that it was aware that there was something off with the area.

There is reason to believe that the enhanced senses also apply to the sense of touch as all instances have shown great dexterity in being able to dodge any and all tranquilizer darts shot its way. Some believe it to be a form of precognition, however there is no evidence for or against the case as any attempt to gain an instances trust results in it fleeing.

Attempts to corner an instance varies in failures, ranging from the instance finding a way to flee to becoming aggressive and fighting back. On one occasion, an instance (A moose, Alces Alces) was cornered from all sides and from the top. Before it could be sedated, the instances muscles contracted and it jumped approximately 4 metres above the enclosing task force and as such, ran at a speed far beyond what is possible for a moose.
