Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard Small Object Containment Box on Floor ██ of Site ███. All Foundation personnel or other entities are forbidden to write on any page of SCP-XXXX any text or symbol, as this could be interpreted by SCP-XXXX as a name of an organism written in a foreign or extraterrestrial language. No attempt should be made to damage or destroy SCP-XXXX, nor should it be mistreated ('dog-earing' or tearing the pages or leaving the book open face-down on a table) as such actions may 'anger' SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a relatively new spiral-bound white notebook, with intelligible scrawls on its cover made in Sharpie-brand felt-tip permanent marker.1 SCP-XXXX (in its 'normal' or 'idle' state) has only one lined-paper notebook page inside of its covers. If an individual2's name is written on the page of SCP-XXXX, that individual's full life will immediately be written into the page.3 If it is not disturbed, it will continue writing a full biography of the individual. Some researchers have If SCP-XXXX is disturbed, however, it will write in a quick biography of the disturbing individual and craft a (particularly violent) death for the disturber.4 It will then resume work on its biography of the written-in individual. SCP-XXXX also appears to be immune to any such attacks.
Addendum 1: Discovery SCP-XXXX was found after reports came in surrounding the death of 2█-year-old Anthony █████. According to the local forensics team,5 Anthony was viciously ripped apart by his █ pet dogs and died of a combination of shock, blood loss and blunt force trauma after angering SCP-XXXX. The team members were administered amnestics and released from the Foundation. An interview with one of the Foundation personnel is below.
Interviewed: Dr. Robert █████
Interviewer: Dr. Michael ███████
Foreword: Dr. Robert █████, who was part of the examination of Anthony █████'s body, was interviewed by Dr. Michael ███████ after he had become somewhat hysterical about the issue.6
<Begin Log>
Dr. ███████: Robert. Are we- hold on- are we- there we are! Can you hear me, Rob?
Dr. █████: Y-Yeah. I-I can h-h-hear you.Dr. ███████: Good. Now. Can you please tell me the state Mr. █████ was in when you found him?
Dr. █████: Mister what?
Dr. ███████: Anthony.
Dr. █████: Oh. GOD DAMN IT, Mike! Y-you a-already k-k-know what Anthony was like when we found h-him. YOUR JOB IS TO STUDY STUFF LIKE THAT!
Dr. ███████: How could you describe it when you first walked in?
Dr. █████: GOD. YOU S-SERIOUSLY W-WANT TO P-PUSH, MIKE? He was TORN APART. IMAGINE ALL YOUR LIMBS RIPPED THE HELL OFF AND THROWN AROUND THE ROOM! ONE OF THE DOGS WAS HOLE-PUNCHING HIS FACE! THE OTHERS' TEETH WERE C-COVERED IN B-B-BLOOD! I OWN A DOG. I P-PUT HER D-DOWN OUT OF F-F-FEAR! I P-PUT M-MAGGIE D-DOWN! I p-put M-Maggie d-down! I p-p-put M-M-Maggie d-d-down. Out of f-f-fear.
Dr. ███████: I'm sorry about Maggie, Rob. But, continuing on… did you ever find the book?
Dr. █████: WHAT THE HE- a b-book? Yeah. It said something like "Anthony █████ was born on" uh… You can find him and his B-Day yourself. Anyways, "He lived in poverty for most of his life, and eventually bought a strange notebook at a yard sale. One day, he became angry and threw the notebook across the room. He was torn apart by his dogs. He left no legacy." Kind of funny, h-huh?
Dr. ███████: Sure, Rob. Thank you for your time.
<End Log>Closing Statement: Dr. █████'s stuttering appears to be a heavy case of PTSD, presumably triggered by the loss of his dog, Maggie. He was administered amnestics and released from the Foundation with no further incident.
