The story produced by SCP-XXXX for D-9997 following Incident XXXX.1

Special Containment Procedures: Any mobile device Believed to have SCP-XXXX installed is to be immediately confiscated and analyzed for any potential lead to any other devices affected by SCP-XXXX and to find evidence of the makers of SCP-XXXX.

All online application stores for Apple devices are to be constantly monitored by a web crawler for SCP-XXXX. Any device suspected to contain SCP-XXXX is to be confiscated and destroyed. The users of the device are to be given class-A amnestics.

Description: SCP-XXXX is $10 mobile phone app for Apple products called “Your entire life story starting from this point”, SCP-XXXX has no listed developer and has no description. Upon downloading SCP-XXXX a message will appear on the screen of the device. The message reads “WARNING THIS APP MAY CAUSE AN EXTREME DETRIMENT TO YOUR LIFE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK”. Once SCP-XXXX is downloaded there is no way to delete it.

Upon opening the app a message will appear telling the user to type in their name, age, country they are currently in, birth date, color of their skin, color of their eyes, and if they have any relatives. If the user puts in an age younger than 15 the app will immediately close and say the user is to young to use this app. If the subject puts in a date older than 15 the app will bring up an image titled “Your life story”. The image contains a line with the year the user was born in, The present, and the date the user dies. Black dots will appear on the line displaying how many years the user will live for, Multiple images will then begin to appear. If the user were to click on an image, a video from the point of view of the subject will begin playing. The video consist of something the subject has done or will do based on the picture on the screen.

SCP-XXXX-1

Once the user has downloaded the app SCP-XXXX-1 will begin appearing. SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity about 1.83 meters tall wearing a large black cloak. SCP-XXXX-1 can only be seen through video cameras and is usually seen close to the user that has downloaded SCP-XXXX, whenever SCP-XXXX-1 is seen in video camera the area around it will begin to distort. If an event predicted by SCP-XXXX does not occur SCP-XXXX-1 will try to make the event happens. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be sentient and can be shown trying to get the attention of the user, SCP-XXXX-1 also appears to feel pain¹ but does not seem to have any long term effects from the injury. After the user has died SCP-XXXX will disappear until another user has downloaded the app.

+ Addendum: SCP-XXXX Test Log

The following is a series of test involving SCP-XXXX.

Subject: D-4445

Date: 01/07/20██

Result:
D-4445 downloaded SCP-XXXX and was instructed to see how long he would live for. D-4445 looked at the device and say “Is this some kind of joke? it says I'm going to die in 2 days.”, D-4445 was then taken out of the room. 2 days later SCP-XXXX was killed after falling into SCP-682 containment center.

Date: 02/20/20██

Result:
D-5564 downloaded SCP-XXXX and was told to see how long he would live for. D-5564 looked at the device and said “Im going to die is one week”. A guard was then instructed to shoot D-5564, upon firing at D-5564 SCP-XXXX-1 was seen to jump in front of the bullet. SCP-XXXX-1 was seen covering the wound were the bullet hit it and a black substance came out from the wound. The guard was then instructed to shot D-5564 10 times, when the gun was fired SCP-XXXX-1 covered D-5564 protecting his entire body. 5 guards were called over and were all instructed to shoot D-5564, The guards fired at D-5564 for 5 minutes causing no damage to D-5564. Through the video feed it was seen that the lower torso of SCP-XXXX was completely missing with only the ribcage of SCP-XXXX remaining. One week later D-5564 was killed when trying to fight a facility guard.

Subject: D-9007

Date: 03/12/20██

Result:
D-9007 downloaded SCP-XXXX and was told to see how long he would live, D-9007 said 4 days. D-9007 was then locked in a containment camber and was given regular amounts of food and water. 4 days later D-9007 was found dead in his camber with many cuts and wounds on his body. When video footage was reviewed it was seen that SCP-XXXX-1 grabbed D-9007 in his sleep and began beating D-9007 with its fist and cutting him with a knife.

Subjects: D-8011 and D-80012

Date: 03/30/20██

Result:
Both D-8011 and D-8012 downloaded the app and were immediately fired upon by Facility guards, D-8011 was killed but D-8012 revived no harm. The guard who fired and killed D-8011 was thrown against a wall and was stabbed 16 times. Video footage revealed that when D-8011 was killed SCP-XXXX-1 began jumping in place and charged at the guard and began stabbing him.

+ Incident XXXX.1

On 06/29/20██ a test was conducted on SCP-XXXX with D-9997. During the test, D-9997 downloaded SCP-XXXX and she was ask asked how long she would live. D-9997 responded with “4 more years”. D-9997 was asked: What is the next important thing that happened to you in your life? D-9997 responded with “ A group named the Chaos Insurgency is going to break me out”. 2 seconds later 7 members of the Chaos Insurgency blew down the door to the testing chamber and killed every guard and kidnapped 2 scientists and D-9997, the phone that D-9997 used was lost in the incident. 2 years later, a single Chaos Insurgency member broke into the facility. Any bullets shot at the subject did not seem to harm the subject at all. The Chaos member killed 32 guards, 8 scientists, and stole several SCP objects. Upon reviewing videos of the incident it was seen that there was a figure next to the subject absorbing all the bullets shot at the subject. The chaos member was presumed to be D-9997.
