Aquizar's Book Collection by Guavity
Item #: XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX, such as SCP-XXXX-1 to SCP-XXXX-5, are to be kept in a glass case and chained shut with a padlock and two heavily armed guards next to the case. Access to any instance of SCP-XXXX is for research purposes only. Any instance of SCP-XXXX is not for security use, nor should any of the instances be used to contain other SCPs. In the event of a breach, humanoid and intelligent SCPs should be kept far away from any instances of SCP-XXXX at all costs.
In the event of a new instance of SCP-XXXX being discovered, A two-vehicle caravan is to immediately rush to the source of the sighting. These two vehicles should maintain the following criteria; a padlock and chain consistently on hand, heavy artillery such as a mounted automatic weapon, heavily armored, and a squad of 10 men from MTF Gamma-13. At no point is contact to be lost with this team, if contact is lost, immediate action is to be taken in the form of the evacuation of a 5-mile radius of the source of the sighting.
All instances of SCP-XXXX are extremely dangerous and can harm many if not used properly.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of leather-bound books, scattered throughout the world. These books, known as SCP-XXXX-1 to SCP-XXXX-[REDACTED], have been written by a currently unknown entity, under the pseudonym of “Aquizar”. It is not currently known if this entity exists, however, any sightings are still under investigation. The writing of these books contain is incredibly abstract and changed throughout each book. Much of the content of these books is yet to be deciphered, nor is it seen to be deciphered in the near future. Any of those who believe they see a pattern within the writing that may lead to the future deciphering of the books is urged to come forth.

All instances of SCP-XXXX hold a magical property, each one different from the others, in a sense of ability.
The first one to be discovered was a red leather-bound book recovered in 1983 in America. Aquizar’s Book of Flame, SCP-XXXX-1, gave the entity reading it, what can only be described as Pyromancy.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a purple, leather-bound book, with the lettering, “Aquizar’s Livre de Nécromancie”[Translation; Aquizar’s Book of Necromancy], on the top section of the cover. This book grants the entity wielding it, the ability to re-animate those that have died recently. From what has been deciphered from the book it's spells take a large toll on the entity, eventually shortening its lifespan significantly.
SCP-XXXX-1 has been contained on site for ██ years. After SCP-XXXX-1’s discovery, reports of dead rising from their grave in the area of ████. This was immediately investigated. An instance of SCP-XXXX was found in this investigation, SCP-XXXX-2. This book was raising victims of recent killings to guard the graveyard where it was hidden.
SCP-XXXX-3 is a blue leather bound book with a yellow trim around its cover. This instance of SCP-XXXX has the engraving, “Aquizar’s Libro Fulgur”[Translation; Aquizar’s Book of Lightning]. This book gave the entity using it an ability to change weather patterns in mere minutes. It’s the strongest ability once summoned a category █ hurricane in the midst of research.
█ months after SCP-XXXX-2 was recovered, reports of a traveling storm that was tearing away at villages within Italy began to pour in. The storm’s winds were going at normal speeds, however, the lightning had a far above average discharge. During a time when the storm had moved its position, a team was sent in to investigate and SCP-XXXX-3 was recovered. It was speculated it was attempting to move all residences from the town, using extreme weather patterns.
SCP-XXXX-4 was a plain, brown, leather-bound book. This book has the engraving “Aquizar’s Kir Kitabı”[Translation; Aquizar’s Book of Dirt]. This instance of SCP-XXXX can manipulate the ground to float or form into different shapes.
█ years after SCP-XXXX-3’s recovery, rocks in Turkey were reported to be floating in a farmer’s field, eventually killing him via blunt force trauma. The Foundation was taken in to investigate. SCP-XXXX-4 was found to be causing these rocks to launch at the farmer to keep him away from the book.
SCP-XXXX-5 is a white, leather-bound book. SCP-XXXX-5 has the engraving; “Aquizar’s Livre d'Air”. Translation; Aquizar’s Book of Air. This instance of SCP-XXXX has an innate ability to change air flow and content around it. It has the ability to increase the amount of oxygen as opposed to nitrogen, suffocating the target. It has other abilities as well, such as summoning winds that can travel at a speed of 267 knots, considerably higher than any hurricane currently ever recorded.
After 10 months of SCP-XXXX-4’s containment, a report came out that an extremely powerful wind had torn houses off their foundation, and flattened a city. [DATA EXPUNGED] France, was the city attacked by SCP-XXXX-5’s 207-knot wind speed. SCP-XXXX-5 was later recovered from a German Air Force plane, that had crashed in WWII. It produced powerful winds to keep staff away. Once in the hands of SCP personnel, the winds died out.
Other instances of SCP-XXXX are either within the possession of The Foundation or have not been recovered to the knowledge of The Foundation itself. Currently, five are in the possession of The Foundation.

Notation; This was in 1983 and this document is fairly old. This document’s writer has not been recovered as they were reported missing 10 years later. How the writer went missing is currently unknown, however, they had direct contact with SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. Any sighting of the writer of this report should be reported immediately.

Original Report [Audio];
Dispatcher: 911, what’s your emergency?
Reporter: Hello? Hi, yeah a fire broke out in ████████, on ███████ Street. Could you please send a firefighter, we cleared out the building, but we still need to put out the fire.
Dispatcher: We’ll be sending over a firefighter as soon as possible, can I get your name?
Reporter: Robert.
Dispatcher: Well Robert, I’m happy you called in. May I ask what’s inside the building?
Reporter: It’s a pharmacy, so I would guess some medication. Ya know it’s funny, it almost looks like it’s reaching for the buildings.
Dispatcher: Well, it’s possible the fire is spreading, keep away from it if you can.
Reporter: [Moved away from the phone talking to someone else]
Dispatcher: Hello? Robert, are you still there?
Reporter: Holy shi-!

After the fire department evacuated the area and calmed the fire, it took four days for the fire to extinguished. An unharmed leather-bound book was found in the origin building. This was considered strange. After this book was found in another fire. The Foundation was notified. A recovery team was sent, and SCP-XXXX-1 was recovered without incident.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-1.2 Testing Log
SCP-XXXX-1-T1; Activation Test
This test was for the original purpose of testing if SCP-XXXX-1 could be activated in any way. It was suspected this book had been the origin of each fire it had been in. Three D-Class personnel were given for this test in case multiple attempts were required.
One D-Class personnel, SCP-XXXX-1-A, was placed into the testing chamber with SCP-XXXX-1 and was instructed to pick up and open SCP-XXXX-1. Once SCP-XXXX-1-A opened SCP-XXXX-1, which immediately acted up, glowing a dark red. SCP-XXXX-1-A continuously stared at the pages of SCP-XXXX-1 for 3 minutes, completely unaware of SCP-XXXX-1 becoming luminescent. SCP-XXXX-1-A then began to show eye movement. SCP-XXXX-1-A began reading pages out loud in a language still yet to be deciphered.
The temperature of the testing chamber then raised to ███ Kelvins. SCP-XXXX-1-A began to sweat profusely with heavy breathing following 5 seconds after sweating begins. SCP-XXXX-1-A was instructed to immediately put down and close SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1-A then looked around the room frantically. SCP-XXXX-1-A then made direct eye contact with Dr.███. SCP-XXXX-1-A lifted their palm to the protective glass, at which point began to melt.
The test was aborted, and SCP-XXXX-1-A was immediately terminated. Upon termination, SCP-XXXX-1 shut immediately once SCP-XXXX-1-A was dead. SCP-XXXX-1 was returned to containment and further testing required Level III or higher approval.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-2.1 Discovery
Notation; This instance of SCP-XXXX is incredibly dangerous and under no circumstances should be used outside of controlled and safe testing chambers. Use of SCP-XXXX-2 outside of these conditions is punishable by termination.

After ██ reports of grave robberies in ████, France, with absolutely no forensic evidence to put any of the grave robbings on a person as there was no residue left on the graves or coffins that wouldn’t have been on the graves and coffins under normal conditions. However, what made these grave robberies strange and morbid, would be that the bodies were missing and tended to be poor or middle class.
After █ months of these reports, reports of the bodies missing appearing walking through, ████ France, began to flood in. The Foundation caught wind of this and immediately intercepted with a ten man squad from Mobile Task Forces Alpha-4 and Gamma-5. Upon arrival, each of the re-animated bodies was immobilized via removal of limbs. Residences were kept within their homes until the threat was confirmed harmless. The first speculation of the cause was a leak of SCP-008. This was ruled out once SCP-XXXX-2 was discovered to be in the hands of one of the re-animated bodies.
Mobile Task Force Gamma-5 then proceeded to apply amnestic to those in the affected area of SCP-XXXX-2. This application of amnestic went without incident.
Once SCP-XXXX-2 was in the hands of Foundation personnel all re-animated bodies ceased movement. SCP-XXXX-2 was returned to the closest Foundation site without incident. Once the title was read, SCP-XXXX-2 was immediately moved into containment with SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-2 was opened on this move by a member of Mobile Task Force Alpha-4. All of the ten man squad brought in from Mobile Task Force Alpha-4 have been terminated.

Addendum SCP-XXXX-2.2 Incident Log
During the transport of SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-2 was not padlocked at the time and was being prepped for containment by one operative of Mobile Task Force Gamma-13. This operative had direct contact with SCP-XXXX-2 and had been planned to be placed into containment upon arrival until it could be confirmed that this operative was normal. However, this transport helicopter never arrived at its destination site. This is the audio log from the black box and audio recorders on the aircraft.
[Begin Log]
Operative 1: Object is secured in the back, prepping for containment.
Operative 2: Roger, proceed with caution, we have no idea what that book does.
Operative 3: Try not to mess with it.
Operative 1: Yeah yeah, I’ll be careful with the damn book.
Operative 3: I’m serious, that thing gives me a bad feeling. If something happens, you let us know immediately.
Operative 1: Jesus, I’m not a moron.
Operative 2: You can say that after this mission goes without going south.
[Silence for the next 2-3 hours follows]
Operative 1: What exactly do you think those nerds back in the states want with this thing? I mean they sounded pretty frantic about it.
Operative 2: We don’t ask, that’s part of the job description.
Operative 1: I mean we saw what this thing did… hell, all those walking corpses in ████ probably had something to do with it. They all just died after we picked up the damn thing. Hell, we saved a town, shouldn’t we at least know what was threatening it?
Operative 2: That’s thinking that gets you killed in this line of work. Don’t think much of it and just take orders with your paycheck.
Operative 1: I’m just saying, shouldn’t we get to know?
[Another hour of silence followed by hardly audible footsteps]
[Pages flipping can be the heard along with quiet out loud reading of an unknown language getting gradually louder]
Operative 2: What in the hell are you doing?
[Preparation of firearms can be heard]
Operative 1: Finding out.
[Gunshots, bone-crunching, and screaming are heard for 15 minutes followed by silence]
[End Log]
The helicopter eventually lost all contact with Foundation staff abruptly during transmission. A team from Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 was sent to recover SCP-XXXX-2. It was noted that four of the bodies were missing from the helicopter, and were never recovered or found. Upon recovery of SCP-XXXX-2, a note was discovered to have been attached to it, forensics showing it was placed after the crash had occurred.
The note read as followed;
“Hello there! If you’re seeing this, you’re really looking hard for my books, always happy to appease some fans. If you’d like to know who’s writing these books, you’ll need all of them. You’ll know when you have all of them, but trust me, if you think you have them all now, you’re sourly mistaking. If you’re wondering who is writing this note, I’ll give you one hint, it’s not Aquizar himself. Now it’s possible you may have figured this out, but Aquizar is quite dangerous. I am merely one of his followers, if I had his power, I’d take you out before you could get this book. However, Aquizar seems to enjoy the thought of an egg hunt for his books and looks forward to playing with you more.
Follower of Aquizar”
All instances in containment were placed into high priority security until further notice.
SCP-XXXX-2 was restricted from testing as its activation seem to be similar to that of SCP-XXXX-1 from what was shown from the black box recovered.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-3.1 Discovery Log
[Date; █/02/██]
[Begin Log]
SCP-XXXX-3 was discovered after reports came in from Central Italy specifically the town of, █████ in the Italian province, Lucca. The reports depicted a large storm that had blown ten houses off of their foundation. This was considered strange as no yet recorded storm had been able to do so without being classified as a tornado. Two field agents were sent to examine the damages of the town. A quarantine of three miles was put up for these two field agents to investigate without interruption. They were assisted by Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6. Civilian resistance was reported before the quarantine was breached and four civilians were shot and killed. Further civilian resistance was avoided.
Four days without any sign of any anomalous activity until the storm reformed over the quarantine area. All contact was lost with field agents and operatives from Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6. All personnel in the quarantine zone were presumed dead.
Four Mobile Task Force Epsilon-9 were sent to dispose of the bodies within the quarantine zone. One operative from MTF Epsilon-9 discovered SCP-XXXX-3 under the body of one of the field agents. Upon inspection, it had appeared that the field agent had opened the book. A correlation was not immediately identified until the book was taken into containment in the nearest Foundation site. Once the title was read and documented, foundation staff keeping SCP-XXXX-1 and 2 in containment recognized the instance of SCP-XXXX within 2 days. SCP-XXXX-3 was moved into containment with the other 2 instances of SCP-XXXX without incident.

Incident Log SCP-XXXX.1
Video footage on the 8th of April showed an entity moving through the site security un-noticed towards SCP-XXXX’s containment. Four guards did not notice this entity slip into the chamber containing the 3 instances of SCP-XXXX. All three cases were opened and the entity proceeded to put its finger in the instances. Each instance began to activate and glow. The effects of this entity have yet to be discerned.
The entity was wearing a blue hood with a yellow tinted rope around its waste. This entity’s face was not ever viewed. Each guard on duty during this event was brought in for questioning. The following is the audio log from a guard outside of the containment area.
Interviewed: Guard posted outside of the containment chamber during the incident.
Interviewer: Chief of Site Security, Michael Forids.
Forward: It appears the guards were entirely unaware of the entity was even in the site. It is worth noting that much of staff did not view the entity’s appearance on the security cameras either.
[Begin Log]
Michael Forids: Are you aware of the incident that took place 12 hours ago?
G-ALPHA: Incident? You mean every book breaching containment on their own? What about it?
Michael Forids: Did you see absolutely anything when the containment breach alert went out? Any entity that may have been out of place on site?
G-ALPHA: Nothing gets past us and you know that. If something does it doesn’t make it out alive.
Michael Forids: So just to be completely clear, you saw nothing enter or exit the containment area of SCP-XXXX.
G-ALPHA: Nothing. Those books did something by themselves.
Michael Forids: You may return to duty, thank you for your cooperation.
[Mumbles and shuffling can be heard as G-ALPHA exits the room.]
Michael Forids: Alright bring in the next one.
[Shuffling and a chair scraping against the floor can be heard]
Michael Forids: Good evening. What can you recall from the incident that took place 12 hours ago?
G-BETA: Umm, the books opened up and started glowing. Then a containment breach alert went out. Why?
Michael Forids: Did you see anyone come through the chamber door?
G-BETA: No, was I supposed to?
Michael Forids: I cannot give you that information at the moment.
G-BETA: Okay then why ask?
Michael Forids: Do not push that any further. Now, are you positive you saw no one?
G-BETA: I saw no one. Can I go now?
Michael Forids: You’re dismissed. Return to your patrol.
[Chair scraping is heard again as G-BETA leaves the room]
[End Log]
Closing Statement: It appears the entity was only viewed on the security camera. How this is possible isn’t exactly clear. Further investigation is required to determine if the entity was truly there or not. However, for the time being, all instances of SCP-XXXX have been observed under high priority containment.
No assumptions can be made about this entity's identity or intentions without further evidence.
