Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a closed vault at all times. SCP-XXXX's vault must be void of any blunt or sharp objects because of its memetic properties. Any personnel who must enter SCP-XXXX's vault, either to shred SCP-XXXX-2 or otherwise, must be guarded by 2 other C-Class personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a typewriter made in 1917 which weighs approximately 20.4 kilograms and measures 10.4 x 28.5 x 28 cm. SCP-XXXX types out a paper trail (SCP-XXXX-2) with a width of an average A4 paper and types at a speed of roughly 190 and 200 characters per minute. At the time of discovery, SCP-XXXX-2 was approximately 50 meters in length. SCP-XXXX's typing speed is also known to fluctuate, with its slowest speed at 150 characters per minute and its fastest at 300 characters per minute.

SCP-XXXX-2 possesses a memetic property. Subjects who have seen SCP-XXXX-2 for roughly 15-18 minutes have reported to have seen their "destiny" on multiple occasions (For additional information on SCP-XXXX-2's content, see Documentation #XXXX-1). Any and all person(s) who have seen SCP-XXXX-2 will have an overwhelming urge to destroy SCP-XXXX and/or take their own life. The subject will find any object near itself and try to destroy SCP-XXXX. If an object isn't found nearby, he/she will try and break SCP-XXXX itself, usually by smashing their own head into SCP-XXXX until he/she dies. Other mediums of viewing SCP-XXXX-2, such as photographs, were found to not contain memetic properties.
