Special Containment Procedures: SCP-316 is to be contained in a basic locked safe all times. By itself there is no need for a further containment procedure.
Description: SCP-316 is a small, white crystal with an unknown origin or substance. When it is held in an environment colder than 6°C, The subject who holds it wil be transported to an icy, cold dimension. The dimension is called SCP-316-1. It is reported to be ice everywhere and always snowing. But the snow disappears when touched by anything. SCP-316-1 is always -35°C and there is a snow tower (SCP-316-C) in the height of 2,5 meters which will make the subject return back. When traveling 2.5 km to north and south, the subject will see an igloo(SCP-316-2) with smoke coming out of its chimney. The igloo wil collapse and crush the subject. If the subject returns back without going into the igloo, humonoid polar bears(SCP-316-A, B, C, D, E) will attack the subject like a normal bear would. SCP-316 is also called as the Polar Crystal
Discovery:SCP-316 was discovered in Iceland, ████ in ██/██/████. There were some rumors of people going in a cave full of crystals then not returning. Team Beta 976 equiped with weaponary and light armor arrived to the cave and they saw the crystals. Only one got their attention and they requested for backup. Then when tests were done, it was known that one crystal was SCP-316 and others were basic quartz crystals.
Test A - ██/██/2008
Subject: D-1879
Procedure: D-1879 held SCP-136 and went to SCP-136-1 with cold environment equipment. He went to north as ordered. After 2,5 km of walking subject saw SCP-136-2. Subject went in as ordered and died from suffication.
Results: Test-A was resulted with the death of D-1879 and exploration of SCP-136-1 and discovery of SCP-136-2.
Test B - ██/██/2010
Subject: D-1971
Procedure: D-1971 held SCP-136 and went to SCP-136-1 with cold environment equipment and a glock pistol with ammunition for safety. Subject went to south as ordered. After 2,5 km of walking subject saw SCP-136-2. He returned without entering SCP-136-2. On his way, he was attacked by SCP-136-A, B, C, D, E. He managed to escape and shoot one of the 5 bears but he died from blood loss.
Results: Test B resulted with the death of D-1971 and discovery of SCP-136-A.
Test C - ██/██/2011
Subject: D-3121
Procedure: D-3121 held SCP-136 and went to SCP-136-1 with cold environment equipment and a glock pistol with ammunition for safety. Subject went to south as ordered. After 2,5 km of walking subject saw SCP-136-2. He returned without entering SCP-136-2. On his way, he saw SCP-136-A, B, C, D, E and escape and run back quickly as ordered an was able to shoot each bear more than 2 times but he told that the bullets did nothing. And then got back safely through SCP-316-C
Results: D-3121 returned safely and discovered that SCP-136-A, B, C, D and E were bulletproof.
