Description: SCP-4538 is nothing more than a couple of flashing lights in the sky, hidden by clouds. No one really knows what SCP-4538 actually looks like, but some accounts say that it resembles lightning. It can appear at any time of the day no matter the weather conditions. Most people that see SCP-4538 die within the hour by two conditions. The most popular condition is by electrocution, not that they are “struck” by lightning but the autopsies show that they were struck by lightning. Even if they are inside or out, this is the main cause of death. But some other accounts have shown that this is not the only way SCP-4358 seems to affect people. The way it affects people is by erasing their minds. This effect is similar to SCP-████.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4538 cannot be contained yet, we do not have the technology in order to contain part of the sky. Even if we did somehow do so, SCP-4538 moves from place to place something akin to teleportation. The best way of surviving is to get 500 miles away from first contact with SCP-4538.

Addendum-01: Most researchers who do research on SCP-4538 must be done within the hour before they are killed or just a simply erased mind. The first person to find SCP-4538 named REDACTED simply wrote it off as just eye problems. Within 45-55 minutes he then started to feel “jittery” and wrote down what he did that day, what he saw, etc. Later that day he was found dead in his home by the landlord, wanting his rent. When police were sent in, they found his notes and then sent it to us. Finding these notes allowed The Foundation to do more extensive research on SCP-4538, by using D-Class.
