Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6507 is to be contained in a 55m by 55m room that is not unlike an environment similar to the Amazon. The walls are to be 18cm thick, and painted to match the jungle appearance of the Amazon. It is to be monitored by infrared cameras at all times. Species found in the Amazon are to be supplied to allow SCP-6507 to hunt. The room is to be inspected bi-weekly for signs of damage and degradation, and if any damage is discovered, then it is to be reported and repaired in urgency. Temperature is to be kept at 22 - 34 °C. Flora is to be monitored and preserved, and any dead plant life is discovered, it is to be disposed of and replaced. Small artificial ponds are to be constructed for SCP-6507 and animals in SCP-6507’s enclosure to drink from.
If SCP-6507 breaches containment, MTF Delta-9(Nature Fury) is to be organized and dispatched to subdue SCP-6507. SCP-6507 is to be knocked unconscious via weapons such as riot batons or other melee weapons, and moved back into its enclosure upon its discovery and neutralization. Melee weaponry is required due to SCP-6507's natural immunities to other neutralization methods via its elemental defenses.
Researches are to be handpicked by Level 4 officials or higher before being admitted to SCP-6507’s enclosure.
No personnel it deems as a “threat” are to be allowed into the Enclosure, while those that SCP-6507 deems as “friends” are allowed to enter and monitor SCP-6507. Only these few are permitted to repair and take care of the Containment cell.
A paleontologist and an animal behaviorist is to be kept on sight at all times to ensure that SCP-6507 is properly cared for. All personnel on-sight are to be well informed on the nature of Dromaeosaurid species of Dinosaurs, due to SCP-6507 sharing many qualities to them.
Description: SCP-6507 is a 6.2 Meter long reptile-like creature resembling a dinosaur of the Dromaeosauridae family. However, unlike other Dromaeosaurid dinosaurs, it has two wings measuring 7.4 meters each on its back. It is usually a Quadrupedal creature, but can stand up, though this is rare. It is completely black, save for the Large stripe that runs down its sides. The stripe ends at the midpoint of its tail, and also spreads out on the wings. While this stripe is normally a bright yellow, it is capable of changing into several colors and has a bioluminescent glow when SCP-6507’s anomalous properties take effect.
SCP-6507 is capable of adapting its body and mind to endure certain elements, as well as change its body parts to be able to traverse different terrain, as it has been seen fusing its arms to its wings to form rudimentary fins for swimming. The true extent to its potential has yet to be seen. Its strangest feature, however, is its ability to use around 8 separate elements of nature. The element it uses correlates to the color that its stripe is glowing at that time. Red for fire, orange for toxins, yellow for electricity, green for plant life, blue for water and ice, purple for energy, black for darkness, brown for minerals, ground, and rock-like objects and white for light.
When it uses an element, the stripe on its sides begin to glow and change into the appropriate colors. When it uses one of its elements, it also becomes completely immune to those elements. The extent of its control over these elements is currently unknown, and requests to test its limits have been requested and are currently undergoing approval.
While SCP-6507 is highly resistant to an element when it is being "used," it is vulnerable to attacks from the other elements when one is used, and it is only highly resistant to damage, as it has shown signs of damage after breaching containment.
The greatest danger that it poses is its use of a currently-in-use element, as it can weapon is for defense and offense, as discovered when it absorbed a blast of fire and stared causing fires and breathing flames at on-site staff. It is speculated that it can do the same with the other elements, like acid spraying for orange, or plant manipulation for gree, but this is still undergoing approval from the O5 Council.
It’s intelligence is also extremely high, being able to solve complex puzzles and plan strategies in fights. It is unknown if it is sentient, or if it can learn to talk, but it seems to understand human speech, being able to respond to basic questions and communicate to personnel with a variety of raptor-esque sounds. SCP-6507 appears to share many behavioral traits that Utahraptors are believed to have, but to a more intense degree.
SCP-6507 also seems to be passive to most researchers, although it displays aggression to some. It is unknown how it decides who is “good” and who is “bad,” although it is theorized that it is a creature designed to withhold the balance of the ecosystem, and hates those who hurt the environment. This is currently being looked into.
No individuals currently inhabiting towns, villages and cities near SCP-6507's place of discovery have ever described anything that may suggest interaction with SCP-6507.
SCP-6507 was first discovered near [Data Redacted] in Brazil, following the disappearance of a group of logging workers in the Amazon Forest. Upon its discovery, SCP-6507 appeared curious of the Foundation personnel, remaining passive, until it spotted one officer and became immediately enraged. It proceeded to leap onto the officer and [Data redacted]. It was subdued when a tree collapsed onto it during the ensuing firefight. Foundation personnel were alerted to its element absorption and manipulation abilities when it absorbed a flamethrower blast during a containment breach and began breathing fire back, and was also causing the temperature to rise rapidly in the air around it. Tests are being requested to see if any other elements can be controlled by it.
Addendum 6507-A: SCP-6507's appearance closely matches that of a god known as, "The Beast of Nature's Wrath," a god that exists in a long dead cult found during an investigation of the area that SCP-6507 was discovered in. There existence had been discovered when the ground collapsed in a cave that appeared to have been dug out by SCP-6507, due to the claw marks that had been concluded to belong to it. The temple appeared to have been abandoned, but was decorated with ancient artworks depicting a creature similar to SCP-6507. A language, close to both Portuguese and Latin in appearance, has yet to be translated.
The exact reason for the cult's forming is unknown, but its existence has caused many researches to suggest a change to the Keter classification for SCP-6507, due to its immunities to most containment methods that other SCP's can be contained with thanks to its control over the elements like chemicals and fires.
Addendum 6507-B: Recent testing has provided new information and new qualities of SCP-6507. When children are within a 5km radius of SCP-6507, they will experience feelings of dread, and when asked what's wrong, they only reply with, "The Wrath is near," or "He is near." When asked who the wrath is, or who HE is, affected individuals will proceed to draw a crude drawing of SCP-6507, and children who were known to have poor drawing skill or amazing drawing abilities will draw the same picture no matter what. It is unknown why this occurs or what SCP-6507 does to cause this.
