Special Containment Procedures:
[SCP-4982 is to be kept in a room made exclusibely from non-black materials. Any object introduced to the subject must not present the color black or contain black-colored materials that can be accessed if damaged.
Visitors must, at all times within the subject's field of view, wear specially made clothes that hide the parts of their body that could be considered black (hairs, moles, pupil…).
Escorting of subject SCP-4982 is to be upholded by two or more members of the fully-blind MTF Vestus-12 "Northern Star", accompanied by a rank 4 MTF commander responsible for clearing the way to the new containment unit. All personnel on the way of SCP-4982 are to be fully equipped with specially made protection clothes whose base materials do not present the color black.]
Description: [Subject SCP-4982 was born █████████ ██████ in █████, Texas. He is a human male of Caucasian origin. 1,82 meters tall for 122 pounds. SCP-4982 prefers to dress in a white trench-coat, white jeans, and a white cow-boy hat. SCP-4982's eyes are entirely composed of white sclera. Despite the absence of an iris and pupils, SCP-4982 anomalously behaves as if endowed with normal vision over his surroundings.
SCP-4982 was first found in a heavily damaged bar in ████████████, Texas. Subject was surrounded by agonizing customers and skinless cadavers. The survivors had suffered a great deal of blood, as well as permanent damage to their eyes. Upon encountering the SCP Task Force; MTF “Statesiders”, SCP-4982 engaged in prolonged resistance before the anomalous effect was understood. Upon meeting appropriately protected SCP personnel; MTF Vestus-12 "Northern Star", SCP-4982 reluctantly surrendered. Video log 4982-V1 and 4982-V2 recorded both encounters. (Both records have been lost during SCP-4982's escape attempt of february 2019).
Anomalous nature
SCP-4982 seems able to anomalously disintegrate anything he considers to be colored black. The destruction occurs on any solid object or being in SCP-4982's immediate field of view. When disintegrating a naturally black item, the toughness of the item offers no impediment from SCP-4982's anomalous effect.
It is important to note that only object whose natural state is black are affected; objects whose surface is painted black receive no damage, as only the paint itself is destroyed by SCP-4982's effect.]

Closing Statement: [After this interview, SCP-4982 became agitated and showed renewed interest in removing visitor's protective headpieces. Things escalated into an escape attempt on february second of 2019. Dr ████ has been proven guilty of letting personnal grievance interfere with SCP Protocol.
His actions having led to an increase in the subject's aggressiveness and halting progress on the anomalous effect's study. Dr ████ was relieved of his functions and given memory removing treatment upon completion of his research logs. End of Report.]
