Special Containment Procedures
SCP-4973 is to be placed in a 5m x 5m x 5m wooden cell at Site-██
Only level 4 or higher personnel are allowed to request tests with SCP-4973
If SCP-4973 is to escape containment, the entire southwest wing should be evacuated.
Any instances of SCP-4973 should be contained in Site-46, each one being in its own individual wooden locker. Anyone caught attempting to create SCP-4973-1 or SCP-4973-2 will be terminated on sight.
Description
SCP-4973 is a a small stone cube 5cm in length. It consistently radiates heat energy, and the air around it heats up to 100 to ██████ Celsius. The temperature is completely dependent on who is in the nearest vicinity to SCP-4973. The temperature is dependent of the person's stress. If the stone is held in someone's hand, it will begin to melt all non-organic matter around it in a 4 meter radius. The person holding it will begin to glow bright red, and will channel the same thermal properties that SCP-4973. (SCP-4973-1). If the person nearest to SCP-4973 or SCP-4973-1 is under enough stress, reality will begin to distort, and all instances of SCP-4973-1 will completely melt into themselves before melting all non-organic matter in a ███ meter radius.
Addendum
Event-4973-A
On 20██/██/██ Dr. Richardson approved the testing of SCP-4973 and SCP-4973-1 in the same room. They melted together, forming a large molten red sphere (SCP-4973-2). This sphere has molten down all of Site-██ and has now began to create many more instances of SCP-4973. The locations have been within 1-███████ kilometers away from SCP-47973-2.
Due to SCP-4973's nature, anyone attempting to test with SCP-4973 must be dosed by a class 3 amnesiac before, and after testing
The entire site has been evacuated and its object class has been increased to Keter.
