Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: The entrance to SCP-XXXX is to be blocked off, and the area around it constantly monitored. Under no circumstances is anybody permitted to enter the station.
Any member of the public who approaches the entrance to SCP-XXXX is to be turned away immediately and informed that the site is unsafe for the public. Anybody who enters SCP-XXXX should be removed immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the abandoned Aldwych Underground train station, situated in London, England. The inside of the station is worn down and has suffered noticeable damage, with both of the station's elevators having fallen to the bottom of their shafts, and several panels missing from the walls. The station's spiral staircase has experienced large amounts of damage from an explosion occurring inside of it (see exploration log XXXX-1).

SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects come into effect when there is at least one human inside of it. Ten minutes after entering the station, subjects begin to experience auditory hallucinations, which include air raid sirens, bombs dropping outside of the station, wailing and whispering voices coming from within the station, and trains passing through the platform. Subjects affected by these become confused and attempt to seek out the source of the noise, but are reluctant to exit the station itself.
After twenty minutes inside the station, visual hallucinations begin to take place, which include seeing children hiding under the tracks, and trains coming through the station. Subjects often report seeing a number of people of various ages in WWII era clothing, (usually around twenty people) inside of at least one of these trains, who come out onto the platform when the train doors open, and stay there until the subject either leaves or dies.
After experiencing these hallucinations, most subjects become distressed, believing that what they are seeing and hearing is real, and often futilely attempting to interact with the hallucinations.
After exactly thirty-five minutes of exposure, anybody who has entered the station is executed (see list of executions for more information). These executions always result in death, and can cause considerable damage to the interior of the station.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was brought to the attention of the foundation after 2█ people were killed inside of it on the sixth of October, 2018. Prior to this, it had been abandoned for 34 years, and had displayed no anomalous properties. It is unknown what first prompted the anomalous properties to begin.
