Description: SCP-5XXX is a standard compact disc (CD) with no anomalous properties. SCP-5XXX-1 is a sentient computer virus contained on this CD. SCP-5XXX-1 is believed to be created with the purpose of increasing traffic efficiency in city centers, and was released in Philadelphia on December 17, 2008. After SCP-5XXX-1's release in Philadelphia, the virus behaved as we presume it was intended. Traffic flow increased by ██ percent and the number of traffic accidents at intersections was greatly reduced. After ██ hours, a very sudden increase in the number of traffic accidents occurred. An estimated ███ deaths occurred in 8 hours. Among these deaths were Dr. ██████ and Dr. ████████, both research personnel with a history of traffic violations. This seems to be the only connection between these researchers and the civilian deaths caused by SCP-5XXX-1.

After these deaths occurred, SCP personnel recovered SCP-5XXX at the home of █████ ██████████, and reset the traffic light management systems of 20 cities.
