Item #: SCP-####

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### must be kept in a 3x2x4 foot Vantablack coated box in order to reduce visual contact with SCP-####.

SCP-#### must be provided with cat food and water daily by Class-D Personnel.

Description: SCP-#### is a small wooden feline decoration. It has a skull carved onto the skull which leads many to think it was originally a Day of the Dead decoration.

SCP-#### has also been shown to change into an organic form. In this organic state SCP-#### is able to communicate.

SCP-#### has said their original dialect is Spanish but has proven they are able to speak both English and Spanish fluently.

SCP-#### was found in a vine overrun home in Western California. The owners were found in fear. Many items were knocked over or broken. The owner spoke of the small black cat and said they had gone blind after looking at it.

When a police officer had the same occurrence- after investigating the small object the SCP foundation sent out multiple agents to contain the object.

SCP-#### should under no circumstance be in sight for an extended period of time. If SCP-#### is in visual contact with personnel the subject may be exposed to paranoia and has been known to inflict blindness permanently onto the subject.

LOG #1

SCP-####: ¡Hola! Ha sido tan largo desde he hablado a alguien. (Hello! It has been so long since I have talked to someone.)

Doctor. #####: Ah- Spanish, could someone call for a translator?

SCP-#####: Oh- I can speak English, there is no need for a translator.

Doctor. #####: Alright, so SCP-#### we have it written that you’re appearance has caused multiple subjects and staff members to go blind. Is this intentional or not?

SCP-####: Well beauty makes you go blind, does it not?

Doctor. #####: Could you please answer more directly?

SCP-####: Well Doctor, there are some things that just go unknown. I wouldn’t say it is intentional. It is out of my control.

Doctor. #####: Where did you originate from SCP-####?

SCP-####: I was made by a sweet little old lady in a small town called Yucatán. She had a family business in which she carved these small items. She made some beautiful carvings. Sadly though, I was one of the last ones made.

Doctor. #####: Who were you bought by?

SCP-####: (Silent)

Doctor. #####: SCP-#### we need you to cooperate.

SCP-####: (Low growl) I’m giving you my time. You are not giving yours to me. If you want me to cooperate then you will not force me into answering questions I am unwilling to answer.

Doctor. #####: (Sigh) Fine, why were you made?

SCP-####: Same reason why you all make vases, decoration and comfort.

Doctor. #####: SCP-#### do you know how you became conscious?

SCP-####: (At this time SCP-#### had transferred back into a wood carving)

Doctor. #####: (Frustrated sigh) Alright, end the recording.
