Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be monitored by at least three separate observation sites at all times. Each site will monitor both SCP-xxxx and the other two monitoring sites. Observation failure by one site does not constitute a breach in monitoring, but observation should be restored as quickly as possible. Furthermore, at least two personnel will be assigned to monitor SCP-xxxx in person. These personnel are separate from those assigned to the observation sites, and are to prevent accidental entry into SCP-xxxx.

Update ██/██/20██: Observation sites and personnel may only employ analog systems. See Addendum xxxx.QUIET.

To ensure the success of procedures xxxx-BREAK or xxxx-SHATTER, all personnel assigned to observation sites must be in exceptional health to reduce observation site downtime. Personnel assigned to observation sites may not leave them for a period of six to twelve two months, except in execution of procedures xxxx-BREAK or xxxx-SHATTER. These procedures should not be executed unless absolutely necessary. See Addendums xxxx.BREAK and xxxx.SHATTER.

In the case of a monitoring failure, procedure xxxx-BREAK will be executed. After execution of xxxx-BREAK, all monitoring personnel shall be administered Class-A amnesiacs in a site by site sequence. A period of one hour is enforced before a subsequent site-wide administration.

Instances of SCP-xxxx-A are to be studied on-site. Update ██/██/20██: Instances of SCP-xxxx-A are to be documented, but not interacted with. Instances of SCP-xxxx-A that look similar to Foundation personnel are to be reported. Corresponding Class C personnel are to be assigned to research team AP.

Instances of SCP-xxxx-B are to be responded to with procedure xxxx-BREAK. After execution of xxxx-BREAK, Class-A amnesiacs will be administered as above described.

SCP-xxxx-C is to be monitored in Site ██. Any change in its condition is to be reported immediately.

Instances of SCP-xxxx-D are to be responded to with procedure xxxx-SHATTER. After execution of xxxx-SHATTER, all monitoring personnel shall be administered Class-B amnesiacs in a site by site sequence. A period of two hours is enforced before a subsequent site-wide administration to allow for the previous site to have its personnel replaced.

Update ██/██/20██: If procedure xxxx-SHATTER fails to re-establish containment, MTF Epsilon-11 or MTF ██████-██ will be deployed to the site to supplement procedure xxxx-SHATTER. Use of amnesiacs will cease, procedure xxxx-BREAK will be abandoned, and Deep.Dive will proceed immediately. Pending results of Deep.Dive, lack thereof, or if the on-site MTF deems necessary at any point, procedure xxxx.QUIET will be executed.

Description: SCP-xxxx was discovered on 04-22-19██ following a series of reports of [DATA EXPUNGED]. Foundation personnel were deployed as a precaution. Reports received during the first week detailed [DATA EXPUNGED] given authorization to investigate. Personnel failed to report during the second week of investigation, prompting the deployment of a research team under armed observation and escort. SCP-xxxx was officially discovered shortly after.

SCP-xxxx is an underground complex with no ties to any known organization. During exploration number ██, it was discovered that SCP-xxxx may have had ties to the Foundation at some point in the past or future. See Addendum Foundation.Connection.

The complex is comprised of a series of corridors and bulkheads constructed of composite armor plate, including at least one unidentifiable material in its composition. As of Exploration ██, approximately 34 rooms had been successfully accessed, and a further 16 remained marked for exploration across floors 01 through 05. Attempts were made to access floors 06 through ██, but these were unsuccessful by the cessation of exploration.

Instances of SCP-xxxx-A are models of humanoids in varying states distress, ranging from physical to possibly psychological. Memetic effects have not been recorded, but precautions are in place. Instances of SCP-xxxx-A are what seem to be humanoid individuals maintained in stasis. Any damage [DATA EXPUNGED]

Instances of SCP-xxxx-B are instances of SCP-xxxx-A that have interrupted stasis.

SCP-xxxx-C is an instance of SCP-xxxx-B contained at Site ██.

SCP-xxxx-D is an extremely hostile instance of SCP-xxxx-B. Only one instance of SCP-xxxx-D has been recorded. One instance of SCP-xxxx-D has been confirmed and contained. A second instance has been hinted. See Addendum Deep.Dive.

AP-01: To date, we have not been able to locate Agents █████ and █████████, the persons that initially discovered… This thing? Is what I would say. But… Judging by the incomplete report that Agent ██████ left behind, this is more so a lead than it is a cause.

[The plasma cutter's sound abruptly stops and a grating sound is heard.]

AP-03: Bulkhead’s open. Sorry for the delay. Thing was made of… something.

AP-01: Alrighty then. You can go ahead and try and retrieve a sample of it. Rest of us will go… inside…

[AP-01’s voice is heard. It quickly trails off. Footsteps are heard. They shortly halt. Grating sound returns. AP-06’s voice is heard. It sounds strained.]

AP-06: Couldn’t you have at least widened the opening… a little…?

[AP-03's voice is heard. It sounds somewhat removed from the group.]

AP-03: Nah, it’d be too easy.

AP-06: There we go. After you.

AP-01: We are entering the Anomaly, forthwith known as Location.

AP-02: Never any interesting names.

AP-01: Give me a break… We are in what seems to be a corridor of some sort. Judging by reflections, material is probably a steel alloy.

AP-06: Infrared disagrees.

[AP-01 raises their voice to a shout.]

[AP-03’s voice sounds more distant.]

AP-03: Kay.

[AP-04's and 07's voices are heard. Their voices sound distant, and slowly grow fainter. The number of immediately audible footsteps have been reduced.]

AP-04: They’re creepy is what they are.

AP-07: It’s a matter of personal taste. I think they’re quite beautiful… in a weird, really disturbing way.

[AP-08's voice is heard. A series of electronic sounds are heard.]

AP-08: I still can’t believe our tech actually works with these things… Every other time, it’s always “this and that - incomp, screws with coding, shorts out, becomes sentient, whatever, but, somehow this…?

[AP-04's and 06's voices are heard. They sound distant, but do not grow fainter.]

AP-06: Wait, look at this one’s hands. It’s like they were… holding something? The rest of the others weren’t, so why this one?

AP-04: I don’t think holding is the right word. Maybe… Miming?

[AP-08 exhales audibly before returning to normal communication volume.]

AP-08: Here we go.

[A door opens with a grating noise and a hiss.]

AP-06: That’s the word I was looking for. It’s like they were miming a wall or something. Like in one of those comics, where-

[AP-02's voice is heard. It obscures AP-06’s distant commentary.]

AP-02: Well. This is certainly disconcerting.

AP-01: I think… that I’m the one that deserves to say that. Close the door, we’re leaving for today.

[A door is heard closing with a grating noise and a hiss. AP-01 speaks loudly.]

AP-01: Alright, wrap it up, we’re done here for today. Zero Eight, when we get out, you’re putting in a query to personnel. See if anyone else matches these statues. Zero Two, you get started on designation. I’m calling it safe, but it’s too early to tell. I’m not sure if this is what Agents █████and █████████ wanted us to find, but it’s definitely something.

Task today is gaining access to what we believe to be a data center on floor three, along with further testing on instances of SCP-xxxx-A through floors one through three.

AP-01: All personnel making entry… Entry successful. Proceeding to tasks. Zero Three, Four, Six, and Seven, you’re doing the xxxx-A instances. Do mine this time. The works. Don’t expect anything different, but do it anyway for completion’s sake.

AP-03: Right.

[A series of footsteps is heard. They quickly grow faint.]

AP-01: Two, Five, Eight. You’re with me again. Eight, you’ll take the lead: you said you had an idea for cracking it?

AP-08: More or less.

AP-06: Wait. I’m not the only one seeing that, right?

Regarding Observation: Prior to Incident SHATTER, SCP-xxxx was directly monitored by two Foundation personnel to ensure that no civilians accidentally entered the complex. Since then, and the subsequent escape attempts of SCP-xxxx-D, observation has been compounded.

SCP-xxxx was monitored by two separate sites. The reason for this is that SCP-xxxx-D has been accompanied by observation failures that were not immediately apparent except upon multi-perspective viewing. In response, at least two observation sites must remain active at all times.

Following [DATA EXPUNGED], SCP-xxxx is now monitored in person, and a third observation site has been added. Personnel are cycled every six to twelve months. Personnel are cycled every two months.

Regarding employment of procedure xxxx-BREAK upon monitoring failure: The intent is not so much to respond to an instance of SCP-xxxx-B, as it is to ensure that SCP-xxxx-D has not become active.

The agents that vanished while investigating the area near SCP-xxxx have not yet reappeared, and with consideration paid to Incident SHATTER, the possibility of a second, uncontained instance of SCP-xxxx-D is under consideration. Investigation is ongoing: the decision whether to continue exploration of SCP-xxxx is tabled until investigations have concluded.
