Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 10m x 10m x 10m steel-reinforced chamber with SCP-XXXX-2 at the middle, with at least one UL Level 10 bulletproof glass window covered with one-way mirror film installed in the room. A person needs to have slept inside the room at least once in order to allow SCP-XXXX to manifest within the chamber. Any type of seat that could sit at least two people should be placed in the proper viewing angles usually provided in the specifications of SCP-XXXX-2. Two cameras with audio feed should be installed to monitor personnel within the containment chamber in a location behind SCP-XXXX-2. An interrupted power supply will be provided to the room at all times. No other forms of room should be placed in a 100 meter radius around this room.
All reflective surfaces that would allow security personnel using the camera to look at SCP-XXXX-2 should be fully covered or removed from the containment chamber. All electronic devices with the ability to receive an Emergency Alert System notification (such as mobile phones) should also be removed upon entering SCP-XXXX-1.
At least two Class-D personnel that is able to read and speak in English should always remain within premises of SCP-XXXX-1 while looking at SCP-XXXX-2 starting from 0100H and 0500H with respect to the timezone where SCP-XXXX-1 is currently located. Both personnel should always maintain direct eye contact at SCP-XXXX-2 once its enters Phase 1. No personnel is allowed to enter SCP-XXXX-1 for the duration of SCP-XXXX's manifestation. Personnel inside the room will give the monitoring personnel signals to indicate which Phase is currently happening inside the room. Individuals that is able to read the screen and decipher the message of SCP-XXXX-2 will be immediately restrained for the remainder of the phenomena.
In the event that a person looking at SCP-XXXX-2 does not read out the message onscreen or averts their gaze for more than 5 seconds, a new Class-D personnel should be placed inside SCP-XXXX-1 and be ordered to read out SCP-XXXX-2's messages for remainder of the the phases.
In the event that both personnel fails, Mobile Task Force Alpha-4 will be notified to keep an eye out for SCP-XXXX.
Class-D personnel that survives Phase 2 will be debriefed and then, at their own discretion, be provided with Class-B amnestics should they wish for one. All individuals that saw the screen without entering SCP-XXXX-1 are infected and will be injected with a Class-C amnestic, and sent to another facility. Termination is also authorized if infected personnel starts to cause harm to individuals involved in the containment procedure. All remains, if any, of Class-D personnel [DATA EXPUNGED] by SCP-XXXX-3 will be removed from the room.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a phenomena that occurs in an area that meets the following criteria.
- A person has slept or is sleeping inside the room.
- A window that could visibly see the scene outside the room.
- A device that could receive a television channel of an Emergency Alert System.
The SCP will manifest itself in a room by displaying or receiving an EAS notification to all devices inside which can start at any point from 1AM to 5AM. Then the following phases will start to happen:
Phases:
1. All devices will receive an alert notification. Lasts for 30 seconds.
2. A series of messages will appear on screen. Lasts for 29 minutes and 30 seconds.
All individuals inside the room while watching SCP-XXXX-2 during phase 2 will experience an episode of being "severely haunted by ghosts". Personnel that were able to see the screen of SCP-XXXX-2 would immediately start to exhibit extreme psychosis. After a few seconds, the infected individual will start to calm down then proceed to enter SCP-XXXX-1 and [DATA EXPUNGED] individuals watching SCP-XXXX-2's messages.
SCP-XXXX-3 will immediately [DATA EXPUNGED] all individuals that fails to read the message on screen.
