Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6790 is to be monitored at all times by approved radio telescope sites, or SCP owned extraterrestrial radio telescope arrays. All change in Gamma-ray levels from SCP-6790, both the amount and direction of said Gamma-rays, are to be reported immediately. All known research relating to extraterrestrial contact is to be closely monitored. SCP-6790 must never be contacted by any form of radiovave, gamma-ray or other Active SETI to contact extraterrestrial life.

Description: SCP-6790 is a planet orbiting the Solar system of (REDACTED),located in the star cluster(REDACTED). SCP-6790 is presumed to be inhabited by intelligent life forms, possessing technology greater than or equal to ours.
SCP-6790 is continuously transmitting concentrated Gamma-rays, seemingly focusing the attention at one star system at a time. These transmissions cease from time to time, usually no more than 36 hours. SCP-6790 is known to transmit to the same star system more than once on rare occasions. It is theorized these Gamma-rays are a way of contacting or searching for other life forms in its own galaxy, and others.
SCP-6790 is a suspected planet-killer, as observed by the Foundation Extraterrestrial Threath Surveillance(FETS) or other approved and/or controlled SETI sites. As of writing, SCP-6790 has silenced (redacted) planets who where at the time showing signs of actively searching for Extraterrestrial life. (redacted)percent of these where silenced shortly after making first contact with SCP-6790.
